Undertaker replaces Hogan

When WWE signed a deal with PEZ Candy to produce dispensers decorated with the likeness of professional wrestlers, they promised their business partner that they would include three of the biggest names in professional wrestling. John Cena, The Rock and Hulk Hogan were the chosen ones. Due to the recent controversy, however, Hogan has been replaced by management. Undertaker has been given the third slot.

During his podcast interview with Chris Jericho, John Cena revealed just how he close he was to turning heel during his feud against The Rock. It was to the point where he spent $5,000 to have new ring gear created for his heel persona. However, WWE scrapped that idea. Instead of asking for a refund, Cena told the seamstress to put that money towards developmental wrestlers that come to her for new apparel. Yet another good deed by Cena.

Since he has come a long way from his days as a wrestler for WWE, fans are naturally wondering about the net worth of The Rock. He is now one of the most well known movie stars on the planet, so his personal value has increased tremendously. While he would be the only one that would know for sure, analysts recently reported that Dwayne Johnson has a net worth that is approximately in the $125 million range. That will grow, of course.

In addition to playing some minor roles in lesser known movies, the former WWE star can be currently seen in AutoZone commercials. In it, he plays a professional wrestler. He and his tag team partner show up to take on two regular guys.

A lot of wrestling fans have no idea how close we were to never being graced by the presence of The Rock. Before he became a global superstar, he was a broke and struggling developmental wrestler down in Memphis. According to a recent interview, Koko B Ware claims that he was the one that helped convinced the future world heavyweight champion to keep chasing his dreams, keep training hard and give WWE a try before looking elsewhere for work.
