Curtis Axel challenging Hideo Itami

WWE officials want to give Hideo Itami an opportunity to produce a great singles match, so that the audience can accept him as more than just a tag team wrestler. The decision has now been made to send Curtis Axel, a veteran that is well trusted by the management team because he's a very solid in ring performer, down to NXT to make that happen. The two of them will work the main event match on January 1, 2015, down in Florida.
