Thus far, there has been very little negative things being said about Matt Bloom since he has taken over at the head trainer in NXT. While some of that might be because a lot of people disliked Bill DeMott and his ways, the main reason is that Bloom is simply doing a good job. Word coming out of the company is that he is firm but fair with the developmental wrestlers. He also has a good degree of knowing about working in the ring.

An independent wrestler named Hannibal has provided the most bizarre Bill DeMott story yet. He claims that the head trainer once had Luke Gallows strip completely naked in the ring. DeMott then allegedly held jelly donuts in the faces of Zack Ryder and Melissa Coates while they took the stink face move from Gallows. It is being said that the talent agreed to do this because it would have enabled them to skip a regular training day.
