Triple H supporting Floyd Mayweather

Boxing fans are a few days away from seeing a dream match that they have been yearning for an eternity. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are finally going to fight. Fans around the world are already choosing sides. Not surprisingly, Triple H has chosen Mayweather. During the weigh in, he showed up to support the man that wrestled Big Show at Wrestlemania a couple of years back. This is a very smart and savvy business move by HHH.

Ronda Rousey wrestling in WWE

If you are one of those WWE fans that have been hoping that UFC clears Ronda Rousey so that she can finally work a match at Wrestlemania, then you might be out of luck. During a recent interview, Dana White flat out stated that Ronda has already done her last segment in professional wrestling. He understandably does not want to lose one of his biggest draws, especially since the company is lacking a bit in star power as of late.

Rock convincing Dana White

It is being said that Dana White was not initially comfortable with the idea of Ronda Rousey doing an in ring segment at Wrestlemania. Reports have now surfaced that The Rock played a big part in convincing the UFC president that it would not be nearly as bad as he thought it would be. WWE is hoping that Dwayne Johnson can do a bit more convincing because they want permission for Ronda to work an actual match next year.

Jey Uso at home

Since he is still injured, Jey Uso was told by WWE to stay home during the tour of Europe. They feel that it would be a better use of his time to get better instead of being protected during tag team matches. He was written off early at Wrestlemania, but management only made him work the match because it was the biggest pay per view of the year. Jimmy Uso is currently working as a singles performer on the tour.

Seth Rollins wins WWE title

While it is being said that the decision was not a last minute one, Seth Rollins was not aware of the plans when Wrestlemania started. In fact, he didn't even know what was to come while he was doing the job for Randy Orton. Management informed him of their decision during the segment with Ronda Rousey. That was when everyone involved was sent into a room with Michael Hayes to go over the revised finish of the match.

Hogan and Lesnar

Even though he did not work a match at Wrestlemania, Hulk Hogan was given a locker room by WWE. He had to share one, and his choice of a roommate was rather interesting. The legendary performer shared the room with Brock Lesnar. The feeling is that management wanted the former UFC star to be in near proximity to the guy that helped start the pay per view in the first place, in case he needed any advice or pointers.

Samoa Joe vs Brock Lesnar

While making a special guest appearance during the Jim Ross one man show, Samoa Joe revealed his plans for the future. He stated that his main goal is to work a match against Brock Lesnar at the next Wrestlemania for the heavyweight championship. He stated that he doesn't care if he has to go through the developmental program in NXT to achieve that goal. Joe is hoping that WWE opts to put him on the main roster immediately, though.

Even though it was something that has been discussed over the past year, AJ Lee has surprisingly decided to retire from WWE. The announcement comes shortly after she worked her final Wrestlemania match. Some have stated that she had lost a lot of passion for the business due to several things. Others are stating that she is retiring because it would help resolve some of the relationship issues she is having with CM Punk.

Bryan vs Nakamura

Last month, Daniel Bryan revealed in an interview that he wanted to wrestle his former roommate and training partner Shinsuke Nakamura at Wrestlemania in Dallas next year. Now, the popular star is requesting that management bring the New Japan star on board when WWE tours Japan this year. Bryan feels that an interpromotional match between the two of them would help draw in fans to the live events in Tokyo.

nWo vs DX

At Wrestlemania, fans finally got to witness the much anticipated showdown between two of the greatest stables of all time, the nWo and DX. While scripting the match and segment, many backstage felt that a lot of the alliances and logic did not make sense. Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were longtime enemies of Sting. Plus, they are also real life friends with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Sean Waltman. WWE went through with it anyways.
