During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Abyss revealed some details about how close he came to signing with WWE back in 2006. Abyss also revealed to Ross that there were plans for him to feud with Undertaker and work a big match together at Wrestlemania.

Rumors have surfaced that there are those within WWE that are pushing management to set up a huge match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Flair vs Hogan in WWE

During his latest podcast interview show, Ric Flair revealed that the reason why he never got to work a big Wrestlemania match against Hulk Hogan was because the latter was having issues with Vince McMahon. Dwayne Johnson

Seth Rollins vs Triple H

While his first choice remains an epic rematch against Dwayne Johnson at the Wrestlemania taking place in Dallas next year, Triple H has a secondary plan in case the world famous actor is not available. Andre the Giant

Andre the Giant trophy

There are those in WWE that are already second guessing the decision to have Big Show winning the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania. He has not exactly done much with the trophy since then. His feud with Roman Reigns would have worked out just fine without the thing being involved. Rumors have it that a main source of discontent about the situation is that it would have better served someone like Damien Sandow.

AJ Lee

AJ Lee departure

To give you even more of an idea of just how bad things were becoming for her, AJ Lee left WWE despite being in line for a push. She was supposed to have started a feud with Nikki Bella after Wrestlemania, and there was a very good chance that she would have captured the Divas Championship. Management was forced to change plans at the last minute. They pushed Naomi, even though the front office was not fully behind her.

Damien Sandow winning

Many within the industry are now questioning the decision by WWE to not let Damien Sandow win the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania, especially now that it doesn't appear that they're doing anything special with Big Show. The belief is that Sandow would have had a ton of momentum going into his feud with Miz, and that would have brought even more attention from an audience that is already interested.

Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt vs Triple H

One of the problems that WWE had when they decided to put Bray Wyatt in a high profile match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania is his next feud. When you're up against a legendary performer at the biggest wrestling pay per view of the year, there's going to be a steep decline in your next program. That is why there are talks about having Wyatt working a program with Triple H because that would not be viewed as a huge drop down the ladder.

Sheamus turns on Bryan

One of the ideas floating around backstage in WWE right now is to have Sheamus making his much anticipated and much promoted return during the Intercontinental Championship ladder match at Wrestlemania. He would initially do so as a baby face before getting the fans to turn on him by costing Daniel Bryan the match. A title feud between the two would then take place for the next month or so.

Tatsumi Fujinami

Flair inducting Fujinami

One of the lesser discussed induction into the WWE Hall of Fame at Wrestlemania is Tatsumi Fujinami. A part of that is because his brief stint in WCW took place well before a lot of the current fans were born. The legend from Japan definitely deserves the honor, and his induction should be an entertaining one since Ric Flair will be involved. The two of them had an entertaining feud over the heavyweight championship at one point in time.
