Undertaker

Shane McMahon being paid

While all of the details of his contract have yet to be revealed, one interesting information on the pact between Shane McMahon and WWE has made it to the surface. The former vice president of World Wrestling Entertainment is being paid $120,000 for his appearances on Monday Night Raw before his big Hell in a Cell steel cage match at Wrestlemania against the Undertaker. That's more than what some full time performers are being paid.

Undertaker

Undertaker contract expiring

While details are hard to come by, there are reports surfacing that the contract between Undertaker and WWE is set to expire soon. Of course, none of that really matters because if he wants to work another match at Wrestlemania next year, then the front office will bend over backwards to make that happen. Despite his advanced age, he is still much more of a draw than the majority of the active performers on the main roster right now.

Charles Robinson

Sting Wrestlemania request

Since the company badly wanted to bring him on board, there were several stipulations that Sting required from WWE. One of them was not on the contract, but the front office gave it to him anyways because they wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. The WCW legend requested that Charles Robinson be the referee for his match at Wrestlemania with Triple H. The two of them worked together for years.

Brock Lesnar

Wrestemania betting odds

Last minute changes have been made by the sports book. Brock Lesnar is now favored to retain the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns, and the reason for that is because he signed a new contract with WWE. Triple H is now favored to defeat Sting in his Wrestlemania debut match. No word on why those particular odds did a complete shift, but the theory floating around is that it is because so many were betting on the WCW legend.

Brock Lesnar

Roman Reigns winning

Despite the new contract signed by Brock Lesnar, the sports books are still listing Roman Reigns as the favorite to win the main event of Wrestlemania. Their belief is that WWE has already pulled the trigger on his superstar push, so they are just going to go through with it. The front office can always put the heavyweight championship belt back around the waist of Lesnar at a later date. Reigns is a -210 odd, while Lesnar is +160.

Rusev

John Cena winning

While a lot of WWE fans are overjoyed right now about the Brock Lesnar news, they are about to be brought back down to earth for a bit when they realize that the new contract means that John Cena has a better chance of winning the United States Heavyweight Championship from Rusev at Wrestlemania. Since Lesnar will still be part time, the front office wanted a belt on Cena, so that he can use it to headline live events each week.

Brock Lesnar

WWE signing Lesnar

As expected, WWE is pushing hard for Brock Lesnar to sign a contract extension before his current deal expires. Management definitely does not want him to hit free agency because that means that a major bidding war will take place. UFC and Bellator are already said to be interested in bringing the former world heavyweight champion back into the world of mixed martial arts. Vince McMahon really wants his champion under a new contract before Wrestlemania.
