Andre the Giant

Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 32

When asked by a fan through social media if he would be in the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal at Wrestlemania 32 this year, Chris Jericho flat out stated that there was no chance in hell of that happening. The belief is that the former world heavyweight champion wants a regular match on the main card, preferably with someone younger and newer that he can put over. Jericho has a decent amount of backstage clout with WWE officials.

Undertaker vs Cena

With the devastating loss of Seth Rollins, WWE has been forced to make changes to their Wrestlemania lineup. The former world heavyweight champion was scheduled for one of the main event slots. WWE lottery tickets

As some of you may already know, WWE has a deal with the Texas Lottery to promote the upcoming Wrestlemania. There are those in the industry that feel that the partnership is a bit hypocritical. Michael Hayes

Fabulous Freebirds being inducted

When it comes to worthiness, there really should be no questions about the Fabulous Freebirds and their place in professional wrestling history. That's why many in WWE are pushing for them to be inducted when Wrestlemania takes place in Dallas, which is where they made the most impact on the industry. The only thing preventing it from being a surefire thing is the fact that Michael Hayes was once involved in a racial controversy backstage.

Steve Austin

Rock at Wrestlemania 15

Back at Wrestlemania 15, The Rock worked the main event against Steve Austin. Well, he recently revealed that the match almost never happened because of backstage politics. Apparently, several of the veterans were against the fact that someone so young was ahead of them on the card. They tried lobbying to Vince McMahon, but it did not work because he wanted that main event to happen.

He wrestled in the Amarillo territory for years. Hansen remains on good terms with WWE and even inducted Antonio Inoki back in 2010 for them.

While the topic has not been brought up much lately, WWE is still interested in using Sting at Summerslam. They just have not been able to figure out how they want to make that happen. There are those backstage that want to save him for Wrestlemania, but there are others who are pushing to bring him back because they feel that the former world heavyweight champion can be utilized to help increase the amount of subscribers that they have.
