He worked Monday Night Raw this week, and he even did a match at the Smackdown taping against Seth Rollins.
May 7, 2014
Alexander Rusev
Despite picking up a win over R Truth and Xavier Woods at Extreme Rules 2014, WWE is still choosing to remove Alexander Rusev from the Hulu broadcast of Monday Night Raw. Alexander Rusev
WWE has a long history of doing things on screen that are designed to capture the interest of the mainstream media. The company succeeded in doing just that at Extreme Rules 2014 with the use of Vladimir Putin on the screen. It was designed to generate heel heat for Alexander Rusev and Lana. The Washington Post actually wrote a brief piece about the segment, so word should be spreading soon.
May 5, 2014
Alexander Rusev

Upon finding out about the death of his father, Daniel Bryan was given time off by WWE to mourn with his family. Curtis Axel
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Curtis Axel and Ryback would be receiving a shot at Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and the WWE Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules 2014, management has decided to put the match on the next episode of Monday Night Raw instead. A rematch at the pay per view is a possibility still.
April 27, 2014
Alexander Rusev
To give you an idea of just how predictable many believe the match between Daniel Bryan and Kane to be, some sites are not accepting bets on the Extreme Rules 2014 main event. Betting will proceed as normal for the other matches, however. The only other really predictable choice is that Alexander Rusev will squash Xavier Woods and R Truth.
April 27, 2014
Batista
As of right now, there are still over 1000 tickets available for Extreme Rules 2014, including several expensive seats on the floor. WWE is hoping that the big time six man tag team match featuring Randy Orton, Batista, Triple H, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns will help sell the remaining tickets, as the hype behind Kane and Daniel Bryan is not as strong as normal.
April 27, 2014
Vince McMahon
WWE is hosting Extreme Rules 2014 at the Izod Center in New Jersey in May. The reason why this location was chosen instead of the brand new, state of the art Barclay Center nearby is because the New Jersey Nets had a hold on the venue for the NBA playoffs. Vince McMahon would much rather prefer doing his pay per view in the nicer facility, but he opted to go with what was available instead.
April 20, 2014
Daniel Bryan

While it was initially believed that WWE would host Extreme Rules 2014 in Seattle, in order to capitalize on the popularity of Daniel Bryan at the moment, that has been confirmed to be false, as an announcement has now been made that the pay per view will be held in New Jersey instead.

May 5, 2014
Batista
When WWE was scripting the finish to the big six man tag team match between the Shield and Evolution at Extreme Rules 2014, they wanted to give fans something to remember. They also wanted things to make sense. In order to clear the ring for Roman Reigns and Batista, someone came up with the idea for the remaining four guys to fight in the stands. Batista
The goal for WWE backstage this summer is to elevate Roman Reigns into a main event performer, so that he can be utilized in a high profile pay per view match against Triple H soon. Bray Wyatt
After suffering a loss at the last pay per view, Bray Wyatt needed a victory over John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, and he got just that. As Cena was walking out of the cage, a kid showed up and began singing, which provided enough distraction for Wyatt to hit his Sister Abigail finisher and walk out for the victory.

William Regal
"Surely, to be an expert at my profession, you have to have made at least a proper living out of it and truly understand all its ins and outs. I've spent 30 years making a living out of it, and I don't consider myself an expert. A lot of delusional tosspots seem to know more than me. And while I'm at it, please don't ask me question in wrestling lingo. Unless you're a pro, you come off like a mug. I don't talk to my comedian friends in their professional lingo because I'm not a pro comic or a plumber or a mechanic. While I'm at it, surely you have had to make a living at this at some point to be considered a pro. Now and then, I like to rule up the more intellectually malnourished of you. It's always a great learning tool. Thank you." - William Regal bashing fans
