Kevin Nash torn quad

For more than a decade now, the internet wrestling community has repeated the same tired joke about Kevin Nash tearing his quad whenever his name is mentioned. So, to mock those particular fans, the WWE hall of fame performer decided to trick them last night. After taking a spear outside the ring from Billy Gunn, Nash immediately grabbed his thighs, feigning an injury. The former world heavyweight champion revealed that he is just fine.

Seth Rollins cashes in

During the seventh match at Wrestemania, Seth Rollins shocked the world by cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase after Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar pounded one another rather brutally for several minutes. Fans showed their disdain for Reigns during the match, so they cheered heavily when Rollins appeared on the verge of winning. In the end, WWE opted to call an audible and let Rollins walk out as the new heavyweight champion.

Cena vs Rusev at Wrestlemania

In the fifth match at Wrestlemania, John Cena successfully defeated Rusev and captured the United States Heavyweight Championship. He did so by shoving his opponent into Lana, who was knocked down from the apron. As Cena celebrated in the ring, the Russian sympathizer berated his blonde bombshell without showing any signs of concerns about her ankle injury before abandoning her at ringside. She was helped by the referee.

Wrestemania betting odds

Last minute changes have been made by the sports book. Brock Lesnar is now favored to retain the heavyweight championship against Roman Reigns, and the reason for that is because he signed a new contract with WWE. Triple H is now favored to defeat Sting in his Wrestlemania debut match. No word on why those particular odds did a complete shift, but the theory floating around is that it is because so many were betting on the WCW legend.

Samoa Joe joins Jim Ross

To capitalize on the Wrestlemania hype, Jim Ross did a one man show in northern California this week. He brought along a special guest, and the audience was pretty excited to see him. Samoa Joe made a special appearances on the show. The two of them had a discussion onstage, and there was a strong indication that the former world heavyweight champion would be joining the WWE developmental program in the very near future.

Daniel Bryan winning IC title

Earlier in the month, rumors surfaced that WWE was going to put the Intercontinental Championship on Daniel Bryan so that he could headline the live events with it. However, Bryan has much bigger plans than that. He noted that his friend Shinsuke Nakamura managed to headline a New Japan show with their version of the IC belt. The IWGP World Heavyweight worked the under card. Bryan wants to do something similar if he wins the belt.

According to Vince Russo, Sting is very nervous in anticipation of his high profile match against Triple H at Wrestlemania tonight. The former head writer of WWE stated that he worked closely with the WCW legend when the two of them were in TNA together. Russo stated that the former world heavyweight champion always cared about every single detail in his match, so he is worried his performance might not live up to the hype.

Roman Reigns winning

Despite the new contract signed by Brock Lesnar, the sports books are still listing Roman Reigns as the favorite to win the main event of Wrestlemania. Their belief is that WWE has already pulled the trigger on his superstar push, so they are just going to go through with it. The front office can always put the heavyweight championship belt back around the waist of Lesnar at a later date. Reigns is a -210 odd, while Lesnar is +160.

Hulk Hogan vs Steve Austin

Fans have long wondered why WWE never gave us a dream match between Hulk Hogan and Steve Austin. It surely would be a match that would draw in millions of people and dollars. During his latest podcast show, Austin revealed that he is the person to blame. The former world heavyweight champion stated that management offered him a match with Hogan in 2002, 2004 and 2005. He rejected all the deals because he felt their styles wouldn't mesh.
