One of the most disappointed people in regards to the early retirement of Daniel Bryan from WWE was Shinsuke Nakamura. The two of them are very close friends. Nakamura flat out told the media in Japan that he was leaving the country and moving to the United States so that he can have an opportunity to work against Bryan. That was one of the biggest reasons why he was willing to walk away from New Japan and sign with World Wrestling Entertainment.

There was an Impact Wrestling taping on Thursday night, and Jeff Hardy worked a match like he said he would. The former world heavyweight champion defeated Tyrus by disqualification. Hardy did botch a top rope spot, and he sold a leg injury as he walked to the back after the match. During a recent podcast interview, Hardy told fans that he was going to wrestle in January despite needing another surgery to repair his knee injury.

In a rather interesting development, WWE has decided to cancel the Shane McMahon DVD that they were working on. While the company did not give an official reason, the belief is that he did not want to be involved in the project. Management has been trying to downplay the fact that Shane has not been involved with the company since he walked away a a couple of years ago.

The publication asked the former world heavyweight champion on his thoughts about Ronda Rousey being a performer on WWE. Being a veteran performer and a company man, the man legally known as Glenn Jacobs said that she would do great as a wrestler.

While doing an interview to promote Jake Roberts and his new film, Diamond Dallas Page revealed that Scott Hall once threatened to walk away from WCW if Eric Bischoff did not go along with their plan for pushing DDP into the main event scene during his feud with the nWo. Things worked out quite alright for all sides involved since DDP ended up becoming one of the most popular performers in the industry at that time.

Back in the summer of 2012, Kenny King allegedly walked away from a handshake deal with ROH in order to sign a contract with TNA. Jim Cornette has not forgotten that. During a recent interview, he called King the biggest liar in professional wrestling. The legendary manager also bashed King for being a stripper when he is not wrestling. Cornette was very much against Ring of Honor allowing King to make a return recently.
