Though it is now a billion dollar company, WWE was once so bad that it came close to being bankrupt. Jim Ross revealed during an interview that things were so bad with the company that several executives walked away because they did not want to be a part of a sinking ship. Ross noted that his good friend, JJ Dillon, had no choice but to resign because he could not feed his family on the pay cut that the company wanted him to take.

However, those plans were changed because the Ultimate Warrior walked away from a scheduled tag team match that was to feature Hall and Ric Flair going up against Warrior and Savage. Instead, Curt Hennig was given a spot in the match, and everything changed.

The former world heavyweight champion said that he was fine with that role because he has already had his time in the spotlight. When it comes to controversy, TMZ absolutely loves it. That is why they were quick to report on a situation involving two WWE divas being kicked out of a restaurant. A regular customer of the establishment was drunk and walked up to Paige and Alicia Fox, harassing them for photos and autographs. Things got rowdy and drinks were being tossed at one another from both sides. Employees stepped in and ejected everyone.

While much of the internet wrestling community is still emotional about the way that CM Punk walked out on WWE, Bret Hart has a different opinion. He completely agrees with how Punk did it. In fact, Hart seemed extremely proud of the former world heavyweight champion for doing that because he feels that Punk stood up for every performer backstage by willingly leaving in order to stand up for what he believes in.

Despite some concerns about him being injury prone, Ryback is expected to walk out of the pay per view as the titleholder.

One of the lesser discussed Summerslam spoilers involves the halfheartedly put together match between Randy Orton and Sheamus. WWE will more than likely go with the predictable route int his one. Orton is a guy that they like giving victories to, especially on pay per view. WWE could always protect the Celtic Warrior by having him cheat the audience by walking away from the match.

One of the top Summerslam spoilers heading into this weekend is that Undertaker will be walking out of the pay per view with a victory. Management wants the two of them to have a third match in this particular series. WWE might even have them working a gimmick match in the final bout. Something like a Hell in a Cell would prove to be quite the draw for the promotion.
