Russo also stated that TNA tries to appease fans online in hopes of decreasing the amount of criticism that the promotion receives since they are trying to compete with WWE.

The source of discontent stems from the fact that he took to social media to say that Sami Zayn, who made his debut on Monday Night Raw this week, was not a television star yet. He stated that while the hardcore fans might know of him, the masses just assumed that he was some jobber that was in the ring with John Cena.

Earlier in the year, there were rumors floating around that Vince Russo was going to take over the creative department for Lucha Underground. John Morrison decided to chime in on the matter. He flat out stated that the rumors were not true. Morrison said that Russo was simply there to watch the show as a fan. He also stated that he and a couple of other stars did interviews with Russo that should be uploaded to YouTube in the near future.

It is being said that he suggested to Lucha Underground officials that they need to hire more female performers to draw in the more fans. The belief is that the promotion did not take too kindly to that bit of advice. Russo went online and told fans that those reports were not true whatsoever.

Well, the game just got a bit more interesting. Reports have surfaced that Ric Flair has just signed an agreement with CBS Sports to host his own weekly show. The Nature Boy will be interviewing various professional wrestlers, celebrities and musicians on his show.

During a recent interview, Jeff Jarrett flat out stated that he would not hire Russo at this point in time. The belief is that Jarrett does not want the negative connotation that surrounds Russo to affect the chance of Global Force Wrestling being accepted by the fans from the start.

Wrestling fans in Eruope are getting a dose of Vince Russo as an on screen character. He made his debut this week in wXw, portraying a heel investor. The former head writer of WWE and WCW made an immediate impact, booking an impromptu heavyweight championship match that resulted in a heel Karsten Beck winning the belt through controversial methods. Russo is not actually in charge of the promotion, as speculated.
