Since the promotion is quite effective in inflating the number of subscribers, the WWE Network will be available for free in May. This is the first time that management has opted to do it in consecutive months (April was free as well). That means that fans will be able to watch Payback for free. Vince McMahon is hoping that the move will enable them to finally break the 1.5 million mark, which would then be flaunted at potential investors.

Vince McMahon was a bit more realistic, especially since he based his opinions on numbers and statistics. The King of the Ring tournament is making a comeback, and it is starting on the next episode of Monday Night Raw. In addition to all of the usual content on there, you will also get to watch Extreme Rules for free. Vince McMahon saw the increase in subscribers after doing the same promotion back in February, so he wanted to give the subscribers count another boost in April. Earlier today, the company revealed that they had reached 1.3 million subscribers now.

Management feels that they are losing out on a good amount of money by people circumventing their rules and policies. A company spokesperson recently stated that they believe that they will get up to 4 million subscribers within the next couple of years. WWE Network recently launched in other countries, but the company has not revealed those numbers yet.

The company stated that they now have more than 1.4 million subscribers. That has caused some excitement within the internet wrestling community. Management loves it because it brought a good amount of attention to the WWE Network. It is being said that they are interested in Stone Cold doing more episodes in conjunction with them. The wrestlers backstage also love the show because Austin has not avoided asking the tougher questions.

Fans threatened to cancel their service after that show. If Vince McMahon avoids talking about the subscription number during the next big conference call, then it is safe to assume that it has dipped below a million.
