Some details are emerging about CM Punk leaving WWE. It is now being reported that the former world heavyweight champion walked out before Monday Night Raw even started. He told Vince McMahon, who kept heavily changing up the television script throughout the day, that he was leaving before the episode aired.
WWE is meeting with several television networks for a new deal, and one of them is Viacom, which owns Spike. If a deal between those two sides were to be reached, then there is a very good chance that TNA would love their TV spot for Impact Wrestling.
With WWE wanting to sign a lucrative television deal when the current one expires, the company is focused on improving Monday Night Raw and Smackdown, in order to gain leverage in negotiations.
