While the terrorists threats from ISIS never materialized when WWE hosted the Survivor Series in Atlanta, the company is still taking major precautions because they feel that professional wrestling events are now a target. Vince McMahon has kept true to his words about having an increased security presence at his events. Several fans in Hershey missed out on the opening of the show because of security checks.

Buy rate for the Survivor Series, which was available for free, have come out, and it shows that approximately 100,000 fans still paid for it.
