Rumors have surfaced that one of the reasons why a contract between WWE and Destination America has not been reached yet is the time slot. The network would obviously love to open up their Thursday night wrestling block with the most popular promotion, as it would draw viewers to TNA and ROH. However, Vince McMahon is not very keen on the idea of helping out his competition.

When Destination America picked up both TNA and ROH, the belief was that they wanted to be a hot spot for professional wrestling fans. Now, they want even more. Rumors have surfaced that the network met with WWE to discuss the possibility of picking up one of their tertiary shows. Vince McMahon plans on keeping Monday Night Raw and Smackdown on the USA Network.

While the company will never come out and admit it, WWE is letting upcoming wrestlers know that they will lose an opportunity to be signed if they decide to go through TNA or ROH first. Vince McMahon wants new talent to not be associated with either of those companies. Big name veterans are the exception, of course.

A potentially big story is brewing in ROH. The company is reportedly having difficulties signing several of their performers. No word yet on what is causing the negotiations to be stalled, but the belief is that it has something to do with the parent company. Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter are reportedly aware of the situation and have been eyeing several of their stars. WWE is always looking for talent, while TNA has started signing again.
