Vince McMahon returning to Raw

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced that Vince McMahon will be making another return to Monday Night Raw this week. The belief is that he will be coming back to help Roman Reigns generate more support from the audience. McMahon wanted to avoid being utilized as an on screen character but felt compelled to do so because he really feels that Reigns needs the help to get over with WWE fans.

When asked about a potential return to WWE, Brad Maddox stated that he was not sure if the door had been closed on him forever. He stated that he was not told that they would try to bring him back into the company down the line. Apparently, management has done that for a couple of people that they have given a release to. Maddox also stated that he did not get to speak to Vince McMahon about the release.

Lashley and McMahon keep in touch

While some people feel that Bobby Lashley left WWE on bad terms, the former world heavyweight champion revealed the opposite during a recent interview. He stated that he still keeps in touch with Vince McMahon, which means that a return cannot be ruled out. Lashley also noted that he still keeps in touch with Shane McMahon pretty frequently. The two of them actually talked last week.

For the longest time, Jerry Jarrett swore that he would never return to professional wrestling. The man who helped start TNA has had a change of heart. Jarrett has announced that he was making a triumphant return to the industry. However, he has not provided details on which promotion it will be with. Jarrett is such a trusted figure in the business that Vince McMahon once tapped him as a replacement in case McMahon was sent to jail.

There is some concern backstage in WWE over the return of Monday Night Football next week. The NFL has historically drawn away a good portion of professional wrestling fans when it returns to the air every fall. Wrestlers are said to be worried about the situation because Vince McMahon is not too worried about it. Nothing special is being planned to pique the interest of the audience.

It looks like Steve Austin and Vince McMahon were once again able to resolve their issues. WWE announced that the former world heavyweight champion was going to be returning to the company and hosting his podcast show with them once again. The two sides reportedly had some issues after the last go around because McMahon felt that Austin asked some questions that cast his company in a bad light. Things apparently are fine now.

For the longest time, the internet wrestling community had been yearning for the return of the King of the Ring, as it was one of the most popular gimmicks that WWE has ever done. It finally made a return this year, and Vince McMahon needed a lot of convincing before giving it the green light. It has now been revealed that he actually hates tournament. The belief is that Wrestlemania 4 did one and produced lackluster numbers.

For years now, the creative department has had a reputation of wanting to amuse Vince McMahon with on screen stuff. Their latest efforts reportedly is the return of the Mega Powers. This time, though, it will not feature Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Rather, it will be Curtis Axel playing the role of Hogan, while Damien Sandow plays the role of Savage. Sandow recently debut his new Macho Mandow character at a live event.

Since Steve Austin and Vince McMahon are at odds, WWE no longer has a host for the upcoming return of Tough Enough. They reportedly turned their attention to Chris Jericho, who is also doing a podcast interview show or the company. They feel that he would be a more than adequate replacement for Austin. Jericho, however, has stated that he has not had any talks with the front office about the role. He might just be working the fans, though.
