The business relationship with NBC has improved tremendously for WWE. The network was able to convince a big brand such as Coca Cola to sponsor an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw that will be heavily built around the Slammy Awards. Vince McMahon and company have struggled over the years to lure in big advertisers.

The man rumored to be the next ruler has been busy mending fences for WWE. Triple H has been widely credited with getting Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino back into the good graces of the company. Doing that has helped raised morale backstage.

In a very interesting note, Vince McMahon was not at the funeral for Roddy Piper this week. The two of them have had a rocky relationship over the years, as both are alpha males and very outspoken. WWE recently terminated the legends contract that Piper was under before he passed away from a heart attack. Triple H and Michael Hayes represented the company at the funeral.

Even though he does not like his former boss on a personal level, he feels that Heyman has one of the brightest minds in the entire professional wrestling industry. The man legally known as Terry Brunk stated that the reason why Vince McMahon keeps Heyman around is because he is deathly afraid of Heyman going off and helping out one of the competitors.

After doing some extensive market research, the decision has been made to move the series from Sunday night to Tuesday night. Some of the network executives feel that it would produce even higher ratings on that day. Vince McMahon also does not like it competing with his pay per view events.
