TNA wasn't the only wrestling promotion finalizing a new television deal in Italy this week. Vince McMahon did so as well. He has secured a contract that will enable WWE to keep broadcasting their programming in that country until the year 2020. The promotion has been with Sky Italia since 2003. The network stated that the business partnership between the two sides have been mutually beneficial and should continue on for years.

If you're still one of those people that have yet to try the WWE Network, Vince McMahon is giving you another chance to sign up. The company has now announced that for the third straight month, the online subscription service will be free to new subscribers. That means that you can watch everything in the month of June without having to pay. The promotion has been quite the success for the company in their efforts to gain subscribers.

Since the promotion is quite effective in inflating the number of subscribers, the WWE Network will be available for free in May. This is the first time that management has opted to do it in consecutive months (April was free as well). That means that fans will be able to watch Payback for free. Vince McMahon is hoping that the move will enable them to finally break the 1.5 million mark, which would then be flaunted at potential investors.

From the moment that Dixie Carter revealed the big secret meeting earlier today, fans have been speculating like crazy on what Steve Austin has planned. The belief is that the two of them discussed business, which means that the former world heavyweight champion might be heading to TNA. That would be a tremendous boost to the promotion to have a legend like him on board. It would also be a great way to stick it to Vince McMahon.

For the longest time now, Charlotte has been rumored to be headed for the main roster in WWE. Over the past weekend, Vince McMahon finally got to see her working a match against Sasha Banks, and he was beyond pleased. In fact, he was impressed enough to where many people backstage feel that he is going to speed up her promotion. We should see the NXT diva on Monday Night Raw before the end of the year.

According to the rapper himself, WWE has banned Wale from being involved with their promotion. He feels that this is because he was involved in an incident with a fan at one of the live events. The company itself has not mentioned anything about it. The Washington DC native also told TMZ that he would love to try to smooth things over with Triple H. He also mentioned that his dream job would be working as an assistant for Vince McMahon.

If the $9.99 price tag is too much for you, you're in luck. The WWE Network will be free for the month of April. In addition to all of the usual content on there, you will also get to watch Extreme Rules for free. Vince McMahon saw the increase in subscribers after doing the same promotion back in February, so he wanted to give the subscribers count another boost in April. Earlier today, the company revealed that they had reached 1.3 million subscribers now.

Reports have surfaced that there were several Lucha Underground stars at the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The belief is that their tickets were purchased for them by upper management, so that they could do a little bit of recruiting. Something like that usually does not sit well with Vince McMahon, especially since he has no affiliation with the Los Angeles based promotion. The cameras, of course, made sure to avoid them.

You can rule out at least one potential second generation wrestler joining WWE. Goldberg told TMZ during an interview that he would never allow his son to work for the company. He stated that he purchase a wrestling promotion and have his son work there than to ever allow him to work in a company ran by Vince McMahon and Triple H. Irregardless, though, it appears that the 8 year old boy is leaning more towards an MMA career.

During a recent interview with Jason Hervey, some details were revealed about the time that Eric Bischoff tried to purchase WCW. Contrary to popular beliefs, Vince McMahon did not end up buying the rights to the promotion because he won a bidding war. McMahon simply ended up with the deal because Bischoff and Fusient Media backed off once the network stated there would be no time slot for wrestling. Bischoff had investors already lined up.
