Since the promotion is quite effective in inflating the number of subscribers, the WWE Network will be available for free in May. This is the first time that management has opted to do it in consecutive months (April was free as well). That means that fans will be able to watch Payback for free. Vince McMahon is hoping that the move will enable them to finally break the 1.5 million mark, which would then be flaunted at potential investors.

For years now, WWE has neglected Samoa Joe. He has been a free agent several times over the past decade, and the company has never offered him a contract. That might be changing this time around. Triple H is said to be interested in at least giving Joe a tryout for NXT. Now that he is more influential in the company, some believe that he might be able to convince Vince McMahon to give the former world heavyweight champion a chance at being signed.

Through their social media account, the company boasted that they drew 72,219 fans when they did Wrestlemania in the same stadium that the NFL drew 70,228 today. Vince McMahon loves to taunt numbers when he beats big companies.

When Dixie Carter signed a television deal with Destination America, it was revealed that Impact Wrestling would be moving to Friday nights. The move coincided with WWE announcing that Smackdown was moving to Thursday nights. Many wondered what Vince McMahon was going to do with NXT since it aired on the same night. Reports have now surfaced that the developmental program is being moved to Wednesday night to avoid conflict.
