Vince McMahon

Monday Night Raw record low

Panic and paranoia are going to be in the air, as reports have now surfaced that WWE had fewer than three million viewers for Monday Night Raw this week. That is the first time that the viewership has dropped below three million since the show officially expanded to include a third hour. Vince McMahon will more than likely make some major changes so that he does not lose his investors and advertisers.

Brock Lesnar

WWE low ratings

When it comes to television ratings, Vince McMahon is probably one of the most paranoid people in the entertainment industry. It is being said that he is going crazy backstage nowadays because WWE has seen a drop in their numbers. To combat this, the CEO is reaching into his pockets and bringing in the heavy hitters. Brock Lesnar and Undertaker are being added to several episodes of Monday Night Raw.

Vince McMahon

Smackdown lowest rating ever

Some troubling news for Vince McMahon. Viewership for Smackdown continues to drop at a rapid pace, and the latest episode was the lowest rated yet. Fewer than 2 million people watched the show this week. The internet wrestling community has slowly lost interest in the product because they feel that is simply a recap show for Monday Night Raw. Nothing significant really happens all that often on the secondary show.

Triple H

Monday Night Raw cancellation

As if things were not hectic enough in WWE during the beginning of the week, Vince McMahon and Triple H could be left scrambling because Monday Night Raw might be canceled. The governor of Florida issued a state of emergency for all of Florida because of Tropical Storm Erika, which decimated Dominica already. It is headed towards Tampa, where the show was supposed to be filmed at the Amalie Arena.

Randy Orton

Kevin Owens weight jab

When Randy Orton unleashed a weight jab at Kevin Owens on Monday Night Raw, it set off quite the storm with the internet wrestling community. Kevin Dunn was blamed, and he became a trend on social media because of it. Reports have now surfaced that neither Dunn nor Vince McMahon fed that line to Orton. That leaves Triple H as the prime candidate, even though he was the responsible for pushing Owens in the first place.

WWE on Destination America

When Destination America picked up both TNA and ROH, the belief was that they wanted to be a hot spot for professional wrestling fans. Now, they want even more. Rumors have surfaced that the network met with WWE to discuss the possibility of picking up one of their tertiary shows. Vince McMahon plans on keeping Monday Night Raw and Smackdown on the USA Network.

Triple H in charge

In a sign of how much stock the company is putting into Tough Enough, Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn were down in Florida to oversee the show instead of running Monday Night Raw like they routinely do. That meant that Triple H was left in charge of the episode. Most fans did not even notice the difference, so HHH proved that he can stick to the formula really well.

John Cena

HHH on Cena Open

As many of you have already noticed, the open invitational story line with John Cena has now become of the most entertaining things on Monday Night Raw. Apparently, we can thank Triple H for that. He is said to be the one that has been pushing for various angles that have pleased the audience. In order to push NXT, he convinced Vince McMahon to let him use Adrian Neville, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in the segments with Cena.

Raw viewers drop

While his vision is being questioned by the internet wrestling community, one thing that Vince McMahon can definitely see clearly is the fact that fan interest in his product has sunk to the lowest point that it has been at since 2015 started. The latest episode of Monday Night Raw drew the least amount of viewers since the final episode of 2014. Hopefully, something like this will encourage WWE to try new things that might draw back their fans.

King of the Ring returns

Vince McMahon is still desperately wanting to boost the number of subscribers for the WWE Network, so he has decided to bring back one of the best gimmicks that his company has ever created. The King of the Ring tournament is making a comeback, and it is starting on the next episode of Monday Night Raw. The preliminary rounds will be held on television, but the semifinals and finals will be shown on Tuesday on their online video service.
