When Dwayne Johnson made his cameo appearance on Monday Night Raw, he entertained the audience by going off script and endorsing a couple of fans that were dressed like WWE legends. One of them was dressed as Hulk Hogan, a person that Vince McMahon is avoiding right now because they do not want to be associated with the bad publicity. McMahon was said to be infuriated by the moment, but he knows that he still needs Johnson.

Royal Rumble match changed

For those that missed Monday Night Raw, Vince McMahon made a shocking announcement at the end of the episode when he informed Roman Reigns that he would be defending the WWE Heavyweight Championship during the actual Royal Rumble match. The belief is that this will be a good way to take the title off of Reigns and allow him to have his big moment at Wrestlemania when he regains the title.

World Wrestling Entertainment has announced that Vince McMahon will be making another return to Monday Night Raw this week. The belief is that he will be coming back to help Roman Reigns generate more support from the audience. McMahon wanted to avoid being utilized as an on screen character but felt compelled to do so because he really feels that Reigns needs the help to get over with WWE fans.

The business relationship with NBC has improved tremendously for WWE. The network was able to convince a big brand such as Coca Cola to sponsor an upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw that will be heavily built around the Slammy Awards. That is the first time that the viewership has dropped below three million since the show officially expanded to include a third hour. Nothing significant really happens all that often on the secondary show.

It is headed towards Tampa, where the show was supposed to be filmed at the Amalie Arena.
