Monday Night Raw viewers

WWE discovered some disturbing news when they checked the ratings for Monday Night Raw this week. The show lost more than 1.5 million viewers in the span of seven days. The company has trouble keeping people interested after Wrestlemania. This does not sit well with Vince McMahon. A lot of wrestling fans opted to watch the season finale of Better Call Saul and the NCAA Championship game between Duke and Wisconsin.

Smackdown to USA

Despite the fact that they have consistently put up tremendous numbers, WWE has never been able to earn the trust of the USA Network to allow them to have their secondary show on the same channel. That all changes at the end of the year, when Smackdown finally makes the move to the same network as Monday Night Raw. Vince McMahon is said to be quite pleased with the development because his viewership should increase.

Byron Saxton backstage heat

When Vince McMahon hates you, your future in WWE does not seem very bright. Byron Saxton might not be around for much longer, it seems. McMahon was said to be furious backstage when Saxton was sent out to do commentary on Monday Night Raw alone. Many felt that this was his opportunity to grab the brass ring, and Saxton failed. It got so bad that McMahon had to send Jerry Lawler out there to breathe life into the commentating team.

There are those in the company that are under the belief that Vince McMahon secretly hates NXT because a lot of his fans feel that the brand is better than WWE. Charlotte on Raw

For the longest time now, Charlotte has been rumored to be headed for the main roster in WWE. Over the past weekend, Vince McMahon finally got to see her working a match against Sasha Banks, and he was beyond pleased. In fact, he was impressed enough to where many people backstage feel that he is going to speed up her promotion. We should see the NXT diva on Monday Night Raw before the end of the year.

Monday Night Raw record

Those that are hoping for change in WWE are in for a bit of a disappointment. USA Network just revealed that approximately 5.4 million people tuned into the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. It is their largest viewership since the special 1000th episode. Not only will this please Vince McMahon to no end, it will also convince him that his formula is working, so he will more than likely stick to the same style that he has been using.

Lucha Underground at WWE

Reports have surfaced that there were several Lucha Underground stars at the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The belief is that their tickets were purchased for them by upper management, so that they could do a little bit of recruiting. Something like that usually does not sit well with Vince McMahon, especially since he has no affiliation with the Los Angeles based promotion. The cameras, of course, made sure to avoid them.

HHH wants Aguayo tribute

Rumors coming out of WWE has it that two out of the three top officials are against doing a tribute for Perro Aguayo on Monday Night Raw. The belief is that Kevin Dunn and Vince McMahon are the two who do not want to bring potentially negative attention towards the company, while Triple H wants to honor a fallen star. He feels that it would bring goodwill from both the internet wrestling community and those in the industry.

Rusev lawyer

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Rusev brought out a lawyer to help him get out of defending the United States Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania against John Cena. Well, Vince McMahon was not a fan of the guy. He was so irate backstage that he fed JBL some lines on the commentating booth to bury the acting skills of the performer. It is being said that WWE auditioned people at the arena for the role.

Michael Cole botch

Life can be pretty hard when your job requires absolute perfection. That is a lesson that was drilled into Michael Cole during the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. The long time WWE commentator screwed up the start time of Wrestlemania, and that did not sit well with Vince McMahon. It is being said that the CEO laid into Cole pretty harshly on the headset. The belief is that JBL also laid into him because McMahon instructed him to.
