Finn Balor meets Vince McMahon

In a sign that Vince McMahon is stepping a bit away from his job as the CEO of WWE, Finn Balor revealed that he finally got a chance to meet the boss at the NXT live event that took place during Wrestlemania weekend. In the past, McMahon personally meets with every wrestler that he signs to a contract. This means that Triple H was the one that did the meeting and the negotiations. The changing of the guard is definitely happening.

Elimination Chamber changes

There are rumors floating around that Vince McMahon abruptly put together the Elimination Chamber, as a way to boost the amount of WWE Network subscribers. Further fuel was added to the fire because management opted to reschedule a live event that was taking place on the same day. John Cena and Rusev were originally scheduled to be approximately 1100 miles away from the pay per view, so the changes were necessary.

Mega Powers return

For years now, the creative department has had a reputation of wanting to amuse Vince McMahon with on screen stuff. Their latest efforts reportedly is the return of the Mega Powers. This time, though, it will not feature Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage. Rather, it will be Curtis Axel playing the role of Hogan, while Damien Sandow plays the role of Savage. Sandow recently debut his new Macho Mandow character at a live event.

WWE in Montreal

The next time that WWE rolls into Montreal, it will more than likely be a live event instead of a television taping. The company was bothered to learn earlier today that ticket sales were a bit stagnant. There were plans in place to taper off the entire top section. That is something that Vince McMahon absolutely hates to do because it makes his shows look small. There is a good chance that a lot of free tickets were handed out.

Vince McMahon monitoring tour

While he would never admit it publicly, it is being said that Vince McMahon is keeping a very close eye on the upcoming tour of China that TNA is embarking on in a couple of weeks. WWE has long been trying to figure out ways of expanding their live events business into Asia. They only do a couple of shows a year there, but it would really be quite a boost to their overall revenue stream if they could find ways of touring there more frequently.

Triple H

NXT marketing

One of the reasons why Vince McMahon is starting to become a big fan of NXT is the fact that the brand was able to sell out tickets to a live event without needing to promote the matches. That means that fans are simply showing up because they support the brand in whole. WWE live events usually reveal the main event matches that will be taking place on the card. This gives Triple H a bit more leverage when it comes to backstage politics.

Vince McMahon hates NXT

There are those in the company that are under the belief that Vince McMahon secretly hates NXT because a lot of his fans feel that the brand is better than WWE. While he enjoyed the live event that was held during the same week as Wrestlemania, McMahon was said to be especially irked when fans chanted that the show was better than Monday Night Raw. It is the same sentiment routinely said by fans online.

WWE bans Wale

According to the rapper himself, WWE has banned Wale from being involved with their promotion. He feels that this is because he was involved in an incident with a fan at one of the live events. The company itself has not mentioned anything about it. The Washington DC native also told TMZ that he would love to try to smooth things over with Triple H. He also mentioned that his dream job would be working as an assistant for Vince McMahon.

NXT extra hour

The NXT live event last night started at 10pm local time. In order to save money on union costs, Vince McMahon needed his company to be out of the building by midnight. However, the WWE CEO was having so much fan and felt the electricity in the audience, he decided that it was a cost he was willing to pay. The show went on for another hour, which bodes well for wrestling fans that want to see Triple H gain more power backstage.

Charlotte losing to Natalya

On Monday Night Raw, Charlotte made a surprise appearance and worked a match against Natalya. Many were expecting her to pick up the win since she is the champion down in NXT, and there is a big live event taking place tonight. However, the opposite happened, and she suffered a clean loss. Reports have surfaced that Vince McMahon was the reason behind that, even though Triple H was against the idea. McMahon ended up winning that battle.
