Hulk Hogan

"Everything kinda went downhill very fast. There was an accident that my son was involved in, and a good friend of ours was in the accident with my son. Just the marriage basically crashing and burning. After the show [Hogan Knows Best], I kinda hit rock bottom. Everything got dark, everything happened at once. I was drinking alcohol very heavily. It just all kept piling up, it all kept mounting and mounting and I didn't know how to handle it. I always wondered how could someone possibly take their own life, and so I got to that point where I said, 'You know what, maybe this would be easy. You know, maybe this would be an easy way to fix things.'"

Vince McMahon has another big headache to deal with, as his company is being hit with a class action lawsuit. The claim is that WWE purposely misled investors about their ability to secure a much better television deal with the network than the contract that they eventually signed. The promise of a bigger television deal was reportedly the reason why a lot of investors sank money into WWE, causing their stocks to soar to record levels.

The legendary commentator revealed to fans through social media that his contract officially came to an end this week. It got to the point where WWE even released a official statement with a veiled jab at those who are complaining.

Vince McMahon
With the real life incident of an airplane being shot down in war torn Ukraine, there are rumors going around that WWE may be forced to tone down the ongoing story line with Alexander Rusev and Lana. Since a lot of people died in the incident, the company may need to be sensitive to the public right now. Vince McMahon loves pushing the envelope, but with WWE struggling financially, now would not be the time for such a move.

Vince McMahon
Since it's only a couple of weeks away from the end of the six month commitment, WWE has already sent out renewal notices to subscribers of the WWE Network. Interestingly enough, there are no special deals to entice people to remain customers. The belief is that with Vince McMahon in cost cutting mode, the company simply wants to make as much money as they can, so there might not be a loyalty discount.
July 19, 2014
Vince McMahon
With the company desperately needing to boost the subscribers count, the WWE Network is set to go international soon. Emails were sent out to various fans to let them know that a trial run was being offered. In a rather interesting bit of news, Renee Young has been moving up the ladder quite a bit in WWE. The belief is that the company is trying to appease her after finding out that ESPN was interested in bringing the beautiful blonde over to their network. The company had already lost Jonathan Coachman and Todd Grisham to the sports network. They don't want to lose Young as well. There are those backstage that even believe that Vince McMahon could allow her to become a commentator on Smackdown or Monday Night Raw, in order to keep her from bolting.

A lot of the buildings in the area have agreed to boycott independent promoters from renting the place.
