Whenever television ratings go down, Vince McMahon and his paranoia go up. He is in that mood nowadays because his numbers have been declining at a rapid rate. There is a fear within WWE that if the ratings drop below 2.0, which is not that far off, then USA Network executives are going to come calling with some questions. At that point, McMahon is going to make life a living hell for the people who are around him backstage.

Brock Lesnar and Undertaker are being added to several episodes of Monday Night Raw.

During a recent interview, Ryback revealed that it never bothered him whenever fans would chant for Goldberg during his matches. However, he also revealed that Vince McMahon absolutely hates it when the audience does that. The CEO kept asking others backstage for ideas on how to better control the audience. McMahon does not like giving any type of rub to performers who are no longer with the company.

The man rumored to be the next ruler has been busy mending fences for WWE. Triple H has been widely credited with getting Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino back into the good graces of the company. Doing that has helped raised morale backstage.

The NFL has historically drawn away a good portion of professional wrestling fans when it returns to the air every fall. Back when he was in WWE, Alberto Del Rio used to wear a scarf to the ring. The reason for that is because Vince McMahon hated the fact that Chris Jericho wore scarves backstage all the time. McMahon feels that it is a feminine product to wear. Since he hated it so much, McMahon felt that the scarves would bring even further heat to the heel character that Del Rio was portraying.

Prichard stated that Vince McMahon did not initially want to sign the Undertaker when he was a free agent. McMahon felt that he looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Plus, the Phenom was coming off of a really bad match in WCW against Lex Luger.

Apparently, several of the veterans were against the fact that someone so young was ahead of them on the card. They tried lobbying to Vince McMahon, but it did not work because he wanted that main event to happen.

Rumors are floating around right now that there is a major difference of opinions backstage on how Seth Rollins should be booked as a heel champion. Triple H wants to keep going the old school route by having Rollins be a cowardly champion, much like how Ric Flair used to be. Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.

Earlier in the week, Jim Ross revealed that he had to do quite a bit of convincing in order to get Vince McMahon to sign Gail Kim to a contract. Her ethnicity was a big issue for the CEO. When asked about the comments, Gail revealed that she was not surprised by it whatsoever because that was just how McMahon is as a person backstage.
