Back when he was in WWE, Alberto Del Rio used to wear a scarf to the ring. The reason for that is because Vince McMahon hated the fact that Chris Jericho wore scarves backstage all the time. McMahon feels that it is a feminine product to wear. Since he hated it so much, McMahon felt that the scarves would bring even further heat to the heel character that Del Rio was portraying.

Since he worked backstage in WWE for years, Bruce Prichard has a million stories that wrestling fans would love to hear. He shared one recently. Prichard stated that Vince McMahon did not initially want to sign the Undertaker when he was a free agent. McMahon felt that he looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Plus, the Phenom was coming off of a really bad match in WCW against Lex Luger.

Back at Wrestlemania 15, The Rock worked the main event against Steve Austin. Well, he recently revealed that the match almost never happened because of backstage politics. Apparently, several of the veterans were against the fact that someone so young was ahead of them on the card. They tried lobbying to Vince McMahon, but it did not work because he wanted that main event to happen.

Rumors are floating around right now that there is a major difference of opinions backstage on how Seth Rollins should be booked as a heel champion. Triple H wants to keep going the old school route by having Rollins be a cowardly champion, much like how Ric Flair used to be. Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.

Earlier in the week, Jim Ross revealed that he had to do quite a bit of convincing in order to get Vince McMahon to sign Gail Kim to a contract. Her ethnicity was a big issue for the CEO. When asked about the comments, Gail revealed that she was not surprised by it whatsoever because that was just how McMahon is as a person backstage.

During a recent interview, Jim Ross revealed something very hilarious about Vince McMahon. The longtime commentator stated that McMahon hates things that he cannot control. That is why he hates sneezing. That little tidbit has been a source of humor for those backstage in WWE for several years now.

Since he has been quite vocal about the creative department, there is some backstage heat towards Batista from people in WWE. However, don't expect the former world heavyweight champion to stop trashing the product. He knows that his name value is growing by the day, so if he ever wanted to make another return, Vince McMahon would gladly be there to hold the door open for him with a gigantic check in his hands as well.

Much has been discussed about the rumored backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Steve Austin as of late. We might know what initially started the friction between the two. Austin revealed in an interview with Sports Illustrated that WWE lied to him during his last appearance at Wrestlemania. He was promised that he would be the last to come out during his segment with Hulk Hogan, but they gave that honor to The Rock instead.

Apparently, he found out that Jim Brunzell wanted to start a professional wrestling union with Jesse Ventura, an idea that McMahon absolutely hated.

Since Vince McMahon is highly aggravated with how long the hall of fame induction ceremony has been running over the past couple of years, everyone in WWE has been trying to figure out ways to resolve that issue. One of the ideas being tossed around backstage is to induct fewer wrestlers each year. The feeling is that if they took away one or two inductees from the yearly class, it would prevent the show from going on for four hours.
