For the longest time, rumors have persisted that Brock Lesnar did not want to be the one to beat the Undertaker and his legendary winning streak at Wrestlemania. Jim Ross confirmed that during a recent interview. The legendary commentator stated that the former world heavyweight champion asked management to change their mind about the decision, but the front office insisted on it happening.

Steve Austin skips Wrestlemania

Some further details have been revealed in regards to Steve Austin skipping Wrestlemania this year. WWE actually had purchased airline tickets for him. He was scheduled to fly out of Texas on the same flight as Undertaker. Austin never showed up at the airport. Management even sent someone to the airport in California to pick him up. The former world heavyweight champion is said to be having business disputes with Vince McMahon.

While they have managed to confuse some within the internet wrestling community, WWE still has every intention of doing a complete face turn for Randy Orton in the coming weeks. They have been testing out the audience at live events by having the former world heavyweight champion working against Bray Wyatt, a heel that does not have an opponent to practice with since he is currently involved in a Wrestlemania feud with the Undertaker.

As some of you may already know, WWE has no plans right now for the Undertaker to make an appearance on television before his big match against Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania this year. However, that does not mean that the challenge will go without a response. The creative department is currently working on a way for the former world heavyweight champion to give his answer without having to be there in person.

Inducting Undertaker

Just to give you an idea of how much he is valued by WWE during the spring time, the plan right now is to induct the Undertaker into the hall of fame during Wrestlemania, if he opts to not work a rumored match against Bray Wyatt. Management needs his presence so badly at the pay per view that they are willing to take whatever they can from the former world heavyweight champion. The big hope, however, remains that he ends up working a match.
