Monday Night Raw changes

Something big is supposed to happen on Monday Night Raw tonight, as rumors spread that WWE was going to be setting up huge matches at Wrestlemania. However, those plans are being changed at the moment. The writers are left to scramble a bit before the show starts since Undertaker decided to go back home to Texas instead of making an appearance. Sting, however, is still there.

Undertaker goes home

After his brutal battle with Brock Lesnar at Summerslam, Undertaker collapsed on the way back to the locker room. He managed to make it back to the hotel without having to go to the hospital. Some felt that he was fine, but he must be pretty hurt to cancel his appearance on Monday Night Raw. The Phenom reportedly left New York this morning. He is heading back to his home in Texas.

Monday Night Raw main event

Rumors are floating around that the reason why the main event of Monday Night Raw felt like it was just thrown together is because it was. Management was so focused getting things right with Brock Lesnar and Undertaker that they simply threw together a main event filled with big name guys that would send the audience home happy. The goal was selling the main event of Summerslam.

Bray Wyatt ankle

It looks like Bray Wyatt is tougher than your typical wrestler. Despite suffering a serious ankle injury on Sunday afternoon, he still managed to put on a pretty good match with the Undertaker. WWE wanted him to take some time off, so he was removed from the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. However, the third generation star has decided to step back into the ring. He worked the dark match main event at the Smackdown taping yesterday.

Bray Wyatt injured

Since he is coming off of a huge match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania, many were under the assumption that Bray Wyatt was going to be featured prominently on Monday Night Raw as a way to capitalize on the momentum. However, WWE opted to keep him off television instead. His injury is the biggest reason for that, as management does not want to jeopardize his future. Wyatt may be kept out until after Extreme Rules.

Monday Night Raw in LA

Next week, Monday Night Raw is taking place in Los Angeles. The event will be the go home episode right before Wrestlemania, and tickets are now completely sold out. Management has already secured Brock Lesnar for the evening. They are now targeting Sting and Undertaker for appearances as well because they know that the hype for Wrestlemania is not nearly at the level that they were hoping it to be.
