Abyss gives back ring

When asked recently if he still has the WWE Hall of Fame ring given to him by Hulk Hogan during a story line, Abyss revealed that he gave that back as soon as the program was over. Some fans are still under the belief that it was a legitimate gift. During the interview, the long time member of TNA also stated that he does not regret turning down the contract that World Wrestling Entertainment offered him. A match with Undertaker was also offered.

Shane McMahon not staying forever

While many wrestling fans are thrilled that Shane McMahon has finally made his much anticipated return to WWE, that feeling of joy might soon be gone because reports have surfaced that he doesn't plan to stick around after his match at Wrestlemania with the Undertaker. This is designed to be a short term deal, and McMahon still wants to continue to make his mark on the business world. Another potential return hasn't been ruled out yet.

For the longest time, WWE fans have been yearning to see Sting and Undertaker battling another at Wrestlemania. Well, they might be seeing the two of them together in a ring very soon. Rumors are floating around that management could call upon Sting to make a return so that he can team up with Undertaker and Kane as they take on the Wyatt Family at the Survivor Series.

WWE statement on blood

Those of you that watched the brutal match between Undertaker and Brock Lesnar at Hell in a Cell were witnesses to a good amount of blood being shed by the two warriors. Many were entertained to see that since it is rare nowadays. WWE issued a statement to let fans know that the bleeding was not intentional. Management stated that part of their safety protocol is to prevent performers from bleeding.

When you pack a show with the likes of Steve Austin, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, you expect fans to tune in since those are four of the most beloved performers in the history of the business. WWE was rather disappointed to find out today that the numbers were not nearly what they were expecting. The television rating and viewership for the episode only increased slightly, which is a disappointment.

Smackdown big matches

For the longest time now, fans have been trained to view Smackdown as a secondary show. That is going to be temporarily changing soon. The belief is that Vince McMahon is going to load up the show with big matches for the first few months after they move to the USA Network. There is a very good chance that John Cena is going to have to work on that show more frequently than normal. Undertaker and Brock Lesnar might even make appearances.

Since he worked backstage in WWE for years, Bruce Prichard has a million stories that wrestling fans would love to hear. He shared one recently. Prichard stated that Vince McMahon did not initially want to sign the Undertaker when he was a free agent. McMahon felt that he looked more like a basketball player than a wrestler. Plus, the Phenom was coming off of a really bad match in WCW against Lex Luger.

There have been rumors floating around that Summerslam was going to be extended to four hours this year. While WWE has yet to confirm that, one of their international commentators has been telling fans that, which has added further fuel to the fire. Management wants the pay per view to feel even more special than normal because Undertaker is there.

While a lot of fans worship the Undertaker for being loyal to WWE, Kevin Nash revealed in a recent interview that WCW was close to bringing him on board. Negotiations were going well, and Nash was doing a tremendous job at convincing the front office to give his friends big money. However, Vince McMahon came through at the last minute by offering Mark Calaway a huge guaranteed deal, something that he did not previously do.
