While doing an interview about his new MMA career, CM Punk was asked if he was intimidated by the thought of going from professional wrestling to UFC. That question irritated the former WWE star because he feels that it is insulting for people to assume that he does not know the difference between scripted performances and actual hand to hand combat. The interviewer tried to calmly diffuse the situation but failed to do so.

Since his debut match is set to take place in the summer, CM Punk has started doing media rounds for UFC. During one of his interview sessions, the former WWE Heavyweight Champion revealed that he has signed on to do eight MMA fights for Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is a lot more than what many had predicted when he first announced his jump into mixed martial arts. Punk states he will do all eight fights.

White stated that Brock Lesnar was a different case because he came from a massive amateur wrestling background.

Holm is now scheduled to fight in the spring, and her opponent is heavily rumored to be Miesha Tate. A loss to Tate makes Holm less appealing, so Rousey would not get her big rematch. That might affect her value to WWE as a draw.

The legendary WWE commentator also stated that he would put his money on Brock Lesnar to win the event this year so that the former UFC Heavyweight Champion can go headline Wrestlemania at the AT&T Stadium in Dallas, Texas.
