Since management believed it to be a freak accident, there is no backstage heat on Samoa Joe for the neck injury that Tyson Kidd suffered. Bret Hart, however, has a different opinion. He stated that Joe is doing a finishing maneuver that is far too dangerous. Hart is also hoping that the Muscle Buster does not end up costing Kidd his career.

If reports about Tyson Kidd needing to take a year off to recover from a spinal chord injury are true, then Antonio Cesaro will definitely be moved back to the singles division by WWE. There is no way that the company would have him sitting on the sidelines for that long. He is far too talented to be given the Jimmy Uso treatment.

While no official statement has been released in regards to how long he is going to be gone, the belief is that Tyson Kidd might need to miss more than a year of action from WWE. It looking more and more likely that he is going to require surgery to repair the spinal chord injury that he suffered last week.

Some further details have been revealed about the Tyson Kidd incident, and they do not sound good. Apparently, the former world tag team champion suffered some sort of spinal injury during his match with Samoa Joe. He was sent to the hospital and may have had surgery. Reports have surfaced that Kidd is expected to be out of action for several months, which means that Antonio Cesaro might be utilized as a singles performer again.

With Wrestlemania being less than two weeks away, WWE might need to call an audible with one of the championship matches. Initially, the Usos were scheduled to be one of the teams that challenged Antonio Cesaro and Tyson Kidd for the tag team belts, but Jey Uso suffered some sort of shoulder injury during the latest episode of Smackdown. There is no timetable for his return yet. His brother Jimmy Uso worked live events by himself.
