His former tag team partner, Curt Hawkins, was recently released from his contract, and the two of them quickly announced that they were available to work independent wrestling shows. There are also some rumors floating around that the two of them could be targeted by Jeff Jarrett for Global Force Wrestling.

Christy Hemme
At TNA Lockdown 2014, Mr Anderson was able to climb out of the cage, but the referee was knocked out, and he had no choice but to return to the ring because Sam Shaw managed pull Christy Hemme into the ring. Christy was able to escape, but Anderson was caught with a low blow and a choke hold, which enabled Shawn to walk out and get the win.

Billy Gunn

During the kickoff match for Royal Rumble 2014, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn shocked the wrestling world when they were able to defeat Cody Rhodes and Goldust to become the new WWE tag team champions. Many were under the impression that their return was a temporary one.

Batista
We have ourselves another sign that Batista might be putting WWE in his rear view mirror. During a podcast interview with Chris Jericho, the former world heavyweight champion openly bashed the method in which the company handled his return. Batista stated that he wished management would have given him the spotlight alone during his first night back. He also stated that WWE made a mistake by bringing him in as a baby face.
August 29, 2014
Wade Barrett
Patience isn't always a virtue in WWE. Wade Barrett was initially told by doctors that he would not be able to make his return to the ring until December. However, the company has a big tour of Europe in November. Since Barrett is viewed as a bit of a draw on that continent, WWE has started advertising his appearances. The belief is that Barrett will rush back from the injury to work those shows.
August 27, 2014
Daniel Bryan
With so much speculation in the air on his condition, it looks like Daniel Bryan will be making a return to WWE in November. Unfortunately, though, he will not be wrestling when he does come back. Management has advertised Bryan to be at the live events that the company is hosting in Europe later on this year. The feeling is that WWE needs all the star power that they can get to draw in the audience.
August 26, 2014
Steve Austin
Life after professional wrestling continues to be great for Steve Austin. He recently revealed that the studios have renewed Redneck Island for a fourth season and have decided to give the Broken Skull Challenge a second one. These deals give him a bit of leverage in negotiations with WWE, who still want him to return for another season of Tough Enough.
August 26, 2014
Dean Ambrose
A Shield reunion could be taking place as soon as Night of Champions 2014. Unfortunately, though, the trio will not be on the same side. There are talks now that instead of doing a singles match between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, WWE could opt to go with a tag team match. Dean Ambrose would make his return and team up with Reigns against the team of Rollins and Kane.
August 26, 2014
Batista
Initially, the belief was that Batista would make a return to WWE after he was done promoting Guardians of the Galaxy. However, reports are now surfacing that he could be completely done with professional wrestling. The belief is that the movie studios are against the idea of him risking injuries by being an in ring performer again. Batista could have no choice but to comply since he wants his career in Hollywood to keep growing.
August 26, 2014
Alexander Rusev
There are rumors floating around right now that Zeb Colter is going to be dropped from television and removed as the manager of Jack Swagger. Many are assuming that since WWE kept him off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. Colter is said to be making a return soon and is only selling the kick from Alexander Rusev. Management still views him as an asset.
August 22, 2014
Bray Wyatt
When Bray Wyatt was closing out his feud with John Cena, many wondered who WWE was going to pair him up with next. Fortunately for the company, Chris Jericho agreed to return and help keep Wyatt interesting. Their feud is about to end, so the question has popped up again. As of right now, it looks like WWE is leaning towards putting Wyatt together with Sheamus in a program.
August 22, 2014
Kurt Angle
There are rumors floating around right now that Kurt Angle has called Triple H about a possible return to WWE. Reports has surfaced that HHH is not interested in a reunion with the former world heavyweight champion. There is said to be some lingering backstage heat from HHH towards Angle, whose contract with TNA expires in exactly a month from today.
August 21, 2014
Kurt Angle
During a recent interview, Kurt Angle revealed that he only has another month left on his contract with TNA. He actually stated September 21 as being the final day of the deal. As usual, Angle left open the possibility of making a return to WWE, while not ruling out an extension with TNA. The former world heavyweight champion stated that no matter where he signs his last deal, it will have to be a part time schedule.
August 20, 2014
Kurt Angle
There are rumors floating around right now that Vince McMahon is not interested in seeing Kurt Angle making a return to WWE. However, that appears to just be speculation. While management has been trying to cut back on spending, the belief is that they would open the check book for Angle since he is a superb performer who can draw in a good amount of fans.
August 18, 2014
Santino Marella
Feeling like he did not want to be forced out of the ring, Santino Marella is already working on making a comeback. The belief is that WWE wants that return to happen in their ring. The company still believes Marella to be an asset, as evident by the fact that they gave him a new three year contract a couple of months ago. No time frame has been given for the Marella return yet.
August 18, 2014
Austin Aries
Back in July, Austin Aries decided to go silent on Twitter because he was protesting the decision by TNA to allow fans to vote on the return of the six sided ring. For those that are wondering, the X Division Champion has already came back to the social media website. He has been posting regularly. Aries is even promoting Impact Wrestling on there, so it looks like he's back on good terms with the company.
August 16, 2014
Daniel Bryan
While a lot of fans are under the impression that his return to WWE is a certainty, Daniel Bryan is not nearly as confident. He understands his body well enough, and he has spoken with quite a few doctors on the matter. Bryan is leaving open the possibility that he may never wrestle again because of the injured neck. The former world heavyweight champion has dismissed rumors that he will be back by Royal Rumble 2015.
August 16, 2014
Evan Bourne
The belief within the industry is that Evan Bourne is hoping to make a return to WWE some day. He recently did a shoot interview, but the video was rather tame. He did not reveal too many secrets, and he did not show a ton of animosity towards the company. If Bourne can show that he can stay sober and injury free, then WWE might be willing to give him another chance since he did have a little bit of a fan base.
August 15, 2014
David Otunga
When Jennifer Hudson told the media that she was not pleased with idea of David Otunga leaving the family for extended periods of time by returning to a full time schedule with WWE, many were under the belief that it was just for public relations. However, there are those that believe that it might be a legitimate thing, as Otunga has yet to hit the road again. WWE is said to be interested in a return.
August 13, 2014
Vickie Guerrero
Unless something drastic happens with her new career, do not expect Vickie Guerrero to be making a return to WWE anytime soon. However, the door has been left open by the company for that to take place in the future if she wishes to do so. Management surprised a lot of people by giving Guerrero a positive sendoff on Monday Night Raw, which solidified the belief that the company would welcome her with open arms again some day.
August 13, 2014
Hulk Hogan
While a lot of fans are still under the impression that Hulk Hogan is really training to make an in ring return for WWE, no discussions are taking place within the company, as many people are already aware that the former world heavyweight champion is in no shape to wrestle. Vince McMahon would gladly pull the trigger on something like this since it would generate a ton of publicity, but he knows it will not be taking place.
August 8, 2014
Batista
There are rumors floating around that Batista might not actually return to WWE after all. Guardians of the Galaxy has been quite successful, and the second movie has already been signed. Batista is already attached to the Kickboxer remake. He may come back to WWE for one more appearance, but the risk of being injured in the wrestling ring might not make much sense any more to a Hollywood star.
August 8, 2014
Ashley Flair
Ever since his return to WWE, Ric Flair has just been floating around, making random appearances and working as a special guest referee at live events. It looks like management may have something for him to do very soon, as Ashley Flair has reportedly been earmarked as the next developmental wrestler to be called up to the main roster.
August 7, 2014
Tyler Reks
JTG and Shad Gaspard are not the only former WWE tag team doing a reunion. Word going around is that Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are looking into doing a tour of the independent wrestling circuit together. Reks has not been all that active since leaving WWE to start his own business. The two of them should have enough name value to pick up bookings.
June 26, 2014
Tyler Reks
A lot of people have been expecting the release of JTG since he spoke up to management about pay per view bonus checks a couple of years back, but it never happened. Until today, that is. The former Cryme Tyme member was one of many WWE stars to lose their jobs today. To his credit, JTG has already been planning for this by working on a business project with Tyler Reks.
June 12, 2014
Tyler Reks
During a recent interview, Tyler Reks shed some light as to why WWE was not releasing people as frequently as they have in the past. For public relations purposes, management is now opting to allow contracts to expire. That draws in a lot less negative attention to the company, and it greatly reduces the chances of the mainstream media picking up on the story.
March 1, 2014
Tyler Reks
When he left WWE, Tyler Reks made it abundantly clear that he was doing so because he wanted to focus on other business opportunities. He is launching one of those soon in BodySpartan.com, a website dedicated to fitness. Among his business partners are current WWE stars JTG and Ezekiel Jackson, both of whom are on the roster but seldom used.

John Cena
"He's a workhorse. He does incredible things for the company and he busts his butt. Outside the ring, I can't stand the guy. He's not a nice guy, he holds talent down. He steals ideas. He's a prick." - Tyler Reks discusses backstage politics with John Cena when he was in WWE
February 26, 2014
Tyler Reks
"Was nice in the beginning, them I realized that he steps on heads and suddenly isn't your friend anymore. He only does what's good for Sheamus." - Tyler Reks discussion his backstage relationship with Sheamus when he was with WWE
February 26, 2014
John Laurinaitis
"If you're not on the radar, he doesn't care about you. I got belittled by him quite a bit. When I came back as T. Reks, that was Vince. Next thing you know, I was Johnny's best friend. And when all that ended, he wouldn't give me the time of day. He is not a nice person. He is all strictly business." - Tyler Reks discusses John Laurinaitis and Vince McMahon backstage
February 26, 2014
Tyler Reks
Now that he no longer works the hectic WWE schedule, Tyler Reks has found time to work on projects that he has pushed back while he pursued his dreams of being a professional wrestler. The California native has finished writing a book about fitness and health. He is now waiting for a designer to finish the cover of the book, so he can publish it.
February 17, 2014
Curt Hawkins
Citing a desire to spend more time with his family and focus more on his technology company, Tyler Reks asked WWE to release him from his contract, and the company granted that request. The move comes a week after he and tag team partner Curt Hawkins debuted a new stripper gimmick on Smackdown.
August 21, 2012
Tyler Reks
There are talks backstage that Tyler Reks has worked his final match for WWE, even though management just recently gave him a new gimmick. He worked a tag team match with Curt Hawkins against two local wrestlers on Smackdown. The belief is that he wants to leave professional wrestling to pursue other business opportunities.
August 14, 2012
Alberto Del Rio
A lot of action took place in the main event of Money in the Bank 2014. Fans went crazy as they saw creative signature spots from Randy Orton, Sheamus, John Cena, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Kane and Bray Wyatt. However, it was Cena, much to the dismay of online WWE fans, who climbed the ladder and captured the heavyweight championship.
June 29, 2014
CM Punk
To calm down the Money in the Bank 2014 audience, WWE opted to go with another divas match as a filler. Layla El and Summer Rae battled in a match, where Fandango served as the special guest referee. Fans were so disinterested in the segment that a CM Punk chant broke out. In the end, Layla caught Summer with a kick to gain the pinfall. Layla and Fandango kissed after the match, while a despondent Summer looked on.
June 29, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a rematch at Money in the Bank 2014, Alexander Rusev was successfully able to conquer Big E Langston again with his submission move. It was the typical match that you would expect from the two. There was a botched spot where Langston speared Rusev to the outside of the ring. However, the two of them more than made up for that by doing a great closing sequence.
June 29, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match that was slightly held in higher regards than a filler match, Goldust and Cody Rhodes, who worked under his Stardust gimmick again, defeated Curtis Axel, who was sporting a ridiculous looking singlet, and Ryback. The match was designed to highlight the Stardust character. Since there was a little bit of action after the match, there is a chance that WWE could be continuing this feud.
June 29, 2014
Dean Ambrose
In a very exciting match, Seth Rollins outlasted Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Rob Van Dam and Jack Swagger to capture the briefcase at Money in the Bank 2014. WWE wants to continue the war between Ambrose and the Authority, so they had Kane coming out and providing assistance to Rollins. Despite the heel tactic to win the match, the Rollins victory was actually cheered by a good amount of fans.
June 29, 2014
Adam Rose
Since WWE needed a filler segment at Money in the Bank 2014 and wanted to showcase Adam Rose a little bit, he was given a quick match against Damien Sandow, who was dressed as Paul Revere. Match was not really all that noteworthy, and Rose got the win after hitting the Party Foul finishing move. This was a segment that belongs more on Monday Night Raw than a pay per view.
June 29, 2014
Cameron
Naomi Knight was given a crack at the WWE Divas Championship at Money in the Bank 2014, but it was Paige that walked away as the reigning titleholder after a DDT and a pin. The match was designed to further the eventual split between Naomi and Cameron, who was at ringside and taking glee whenever her tag team partner was in peril against Paige.
June 29, 2014
Erick Rowan
Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso had their biggest challenge to date when Erick Rowan and Luke Harper challenged them for the WWE tag team championship at Money in the Bank 2014. The twin brothers delivered by retaining the belt. The Usos performed a double superplex on Rowan before finishing him off with consecutive flying splashes from the top rope.
June 29, 2014
Batista
In a rather surprising move, WWE had the Shield win convincingly against Evolution. Batista and Randy Orton were the first two performers to be eliminated from the main event match at Payback 2014, but both provided interference for Triple H after their eliminations. After taking a brutal beating, Roman Reigns picked up the win for his team. Many expected Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to be eliminated during the match, but WWE opted to give them a dominant ending.
June 2, 2014
Alicia Fox
In a match designed to be the buffer between the two main event features at Payback 2014, Paige successfully defended the WWE Divas Championship against Alicia Fox via submission. Afterwards, Alicia continued her story line of going crazy whenever things do not go well for her. The audience reacted more to the post match antics than the actual match.
June 2, 2014
Bray Wyatt
In a segment filled with plenty of interference from Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, Luke Rowan and Erick Harper, John Cena was able to defeat Bray Wyatt in a Last Man Standing match at Payback 2014 after Cena put Wyatt through a big black box and covered him with an even heavier box. Rumors have it that WWE will be continuing this feud and something could trigger that on Monday Night Raw this week.
June 2, 2014
Rob Van Dam
At Payback 2014, Wade Barrett successfully defended the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Rob Van Dam after picking up the pin fall victory, thanks to the Bull Hammer. The performers placed some doubt in that finish when it appeared that Barrett had injured his arm while smashing into the corner post after RVD ducked away from the move outside the ring.
June 1, 2014
Alexander Rusev
In a glorified squash match at Payback 2014, Alexander Rusev defeated Big E Langston via submission to continue his push up the ladder in WWE. He was able to slap on the camel clutch after delivering a big kick to Langston. Afterwards, he held the submission move on for a short period of time before Lana instructs him to let go. Rusev should be placed into a new feud this week.
June 1, 2014
Cody Rhodes
In a match designed by WWE to accelerate the split between the brothers, Curtis Axel and Ryback defeated Cody Rhodes and Goldust in the second match of Payback 2014. Ryback picked up the pin fall victory for his team after delivering the Shell Shock to Rhodes. Afterwards, Rhodes told Goldust that he needs to find a better tag team partner for himself.
June 1, 2014
Antonio Cesaro
Despite being in the airplane spin for quite a few rotations, Sheamus was able to capture the victory over Antonio Cesaro, who had Paul Heyman with him at ringside, at Payback 2014 by surprising his opponent with a small package. With the win, Sheamus retains the United States Heavyweight Championship and will more than likely be placed in another feud by WWE tomorrow.
June 1, 2014
Daniel Bryan
In a match filled with quite a few over the top spots, Daniel Bryan successfully retained the WWE Championship by defeating Kane at Extreme Rules 2014. A running knee followed by a pin enabled Bryan to get the pin fall victory over Kane. Prior to that spot, Kane was put through a burning table and carried on a forklift, among other things.
May 4, 2014
Paige
Since WWE needed a Divas Championship match at Extreme Rules 2014, Paige was given the victory over Tamina Snuka after delivering her submission finisher. The segment was short and quick, providing only a couple of spots outside the ring. It basically served as a pay per view buffer between the steel cage match and the world title match.
May 4, 2014
Bray Wyatt
After suffering a loss at the last pay per view, Bray Wyatt needed a victory over John Cena at Extreme Rules 2014, and he got just that. Wyatt received a heavy dose of interference from Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, but Cena still managed to overcome those odds. As Cena was walking out of the cage, a kid showed up and began singing, which provided enough distraction for Wyatt to hit his Sister Abigail finisher and walk out for the victory.
May 4, 2014
Batista
In the most anticipated match at Extreme Rules 2014, the Shield defeated Evolution. Roman Reigns picked up the pin fall victory over Batista after a Superman punch and a spear. Triple H, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose fought through the audience before Rollins took out all four of them by hurling himself from the elevated stands.
May 4, 2014
Big E Langston
The first title change at Extreme Rules 2014 took place when Wade Barrett defeated Big E Langston to capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett picked up the pin fall victory after delivering a running Bull Hammer finisher on Langston. A highlight of the pay per view was Langston spearing Barrett from the ring to the floor.
