Seth Rollins missing Wrestlemania

While his knee surgery was a success, WWE is still expecting Seth Rollins to miss out on Wrestlemania. That means that they need to find a new opponent for Triple H to work with. The two of them were originally scheduled for a match, with Rollins doing a baby face turn at some point in time. Plans were in place for him to break away from the Authority after dropping the belt to Roman Reigns. The injury changed everything.

Sting requesting referee

When he worked his Wrestlemania match against Triple H, Sting made a request to management. He wanted Charles Robinson, whom he was very familiar with from their time together in WCW, to be the referee. WWE gladly obliged. It is interesting to note that when he worked his title match at Night of Champions against Seth Rollins, Robinson was not the referee for the match.

HHH hogging spotlight

There is some concern within WWE over the roles that Triple H has been giving himself. Even though he was the right guy for the part because of his in ring abilities and name value, some questioned if he should have been the one to work with Sting in his debut match. HHH is also penciled in to work with The Rock at Wrestlemania, so a decent amount of people are going to silently accuse him of putting himself in the biggest spotlight.

HHH vs Rock at Wrestlemania

As of right now, WWE still has The Rock penciled in for a big time match against Triple H at Wrestlemania. The reason why HHH is the opponent as opposed to someone like Brock Lesnar or even Seth Rollins is because management is really pushing to get Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at the pay per view. UFC won't allow her to wrestle, but they might be convinced to let her do an appearance at ringside.

Stephanie McMahon sells more shares

The dream house that Triple H and Stephanie McMahon want to build might end up being bigger than a Wrestlemania venue, it seems. Stephanie has once again sold off shares. This time, she has sold off 14,000 of them, which brought in $2,615,000. She has been systematically selling off her ownership in WWE over the past year, in order to put money into her bank accounts.

Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio Terminator theme

To promote the upcoming Terminator movie in Mexico, producers opted to sign a deal with Rey Mysterio, one of the more beloved performers south of the border. Much like what was done with Triple H at Wrestlemania, Mysterio was given a similar theme to come out to at a recent AAA live event. Some said that it was better than what HHH had.

Ronda Rousey next fight

Since WWE has been putting on a full court press on trying to get Ronda Rousey to work a match at Wrestlemania, the belief is that someone from the company will be there in person when she has her next fight. Things aren't as certain since the event is going to be taking place in Brazil. Triple H is unlikely to attend since he spends his weekends on the road, directing the live events. Stephanie McMahon might be able to make it, though.

Seth Rollins vs Triple H

While his first choice remains an epic rematch against Dwayne Johnson at the Wrestlemania taking place in Dallas next year, Triple H has a secondary plan in case the world famous actor is not available. Seeds have been planted for an eventual feud between HHH and his protege Seth Rollins, whose character was hand chosen by the on screen COO to hold the world heavyweight championship. A slow rift will be built up over the upcoming months.

Finn Balor meets Vince McMahon

In a sign that Vince McMahon is stepping a bit away from his job as the CEO of WWE, Finn Balor revealed that he finally got a chance to meet the boss at the NXT live event that took place during Wrestlemania weekend. In the past, McMahon personally meets with every wrestler that he signs to a contract. This means that Triple H was the one that did the meeting and the negotiations. The changing of the guard is definitely happening.
