Vince Russo

Vince Russo on Triple H

During a recent interview, Vince Russo touched on the topic of Triple H booking WWE now. The former stated that the latter was a bit biased whenever he was still working as a full time in ring performer. However, now that he is booking performers that he does not consider peers, HHH is able to be more objective. It also helps that he's also a high ranking executive in World Wrestling Entertainment, so he's going to do what is best for business.

Kurt Angle meeting Triple H

Earlier in the month, Kurt Angle was in Columbus, Ohio to accept an induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame. During the same weekend, Triple H was also in town to film some segments for WWE at the Arnold Sports Festival. The two of them made time to have a little meeting. No word yet on what was discussed, but since Angle is no longer with TNA and is a free agent, the belief was that they discussed a possible return to World Wrestling Entertainment.

Rumors about backstage heat between Vince McMahon and Triple H are heating up as of late. Vince McMahon out paid in WWE

Since he is the face of the company, many people are under the assumption that Vince McMahon is always the highest paid executive in WWE. That was definitely not the case this past year. George Barrios made $4.5 million, Kevin Dunn made $4.8 million and Michelle Wilson made $4.5 million. All of those surpassed the $3.3 million made by McMahon. On a side note, Triple H made $3.1 million, while Stephanie McMahon pulled in $1.7 million.

HHH fought hard for Reigns

According to Sean Waltman, who made an appearance on the Jim Ross podcast interview show this week, Triple H had to fight tooth and nails with Vince McMahon so that his character could take a beating from Roman Reigns on the Monday Night Raw after the former Shield member captured the WWE Heavyweight Championship. McMahon apparently didn't want that to happen, but HHH knew that it would turn the audience around.

Triple H

WWE and Lucha Underground

Apparently, WWE has taken quite an interest in Lucha Underground. Triple H was one of the executives that the company sent to meet with representatives of the upstart California based promotion. The goal was to get a talent exchange agreement between the two sides, but LU officials were said to not be interested because it would not be in the best interest of their company. They feel that they can rise on their own right now.
