Apparently, WWE has taken quite an interest in Lucha Underground. Triple H was one of the executives that the company sent to meet with representatives of the upstart California based promotion. The goal was to get a talent exchange agreement between the two sides, but LU officials were said to not be interested because it would not be in the best interest of their company. Hoping to become a more active touring company in 2016 so that NXT can finally become profitable, Triple H has booked his developmental crew for a tour of the midwest. Since NXT has been growing exponentially, the belief is that the performers are being paid more. That is actually not the case. He also mentioned that his dream job would be working as an assistant for Vince McMahon.

He stated that he purchase a wrestling promotion and have his son work there than to ever allow him to work in a company ran by Vince McMahon and Triple H. Irregardless, though, it appears that the 8 year old boy is leaning more towards an MMA career.
