During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, The Rock revealed that he still keeps in touch with Triple H via text messages. He stated that the two of them are discussing a potential match against one another at Wrestlemania next year. They both want to break the record since it will be in the gigantic AT&T Stadium in Dallas. Dwayne Johnson stated that he is not opposed to the idea if they can come up with something that will be great.

Boxing fans are a few days away from seeing a dream match that they have been yearning for an eternity. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are finally going to fight. Fans around the world are already choosing sides. Not surprisingly, Triple H has chosen Mayweather. During the weigh in, he showed up to support the man that wrestled Big Show at Wrestlemania a couple of years back. This is a very smart and savvy business move by HHH.

One of the reasons why Vince McMahon is starting to become a big fan of NXT is the fact that the brand was able to sell out tickets to a live event without needing to promote the matches. That means that fans are simply showing up because they support the brand in whole. WWE live events usually reveal the main event matches that will be taking place on the card. This gives Triple H a bit more leverage when it comes to backstage politics.

When Ronda Rousey showed up at Summerslam, WWE knew that they wanted to put her in a match against Stephanie McMahon, as that would be one of the biggest draws for the company. However, Dana White is unlikely to allow a top level UFC draw to risk injury inside of a wrestling ring. That means that we will more than likely see Triple H and The Rock working a match where the two ladies would be in their respective corners.

At Wrestlemania, fans finally got to witness the much anticipated showdown between two of the greatest stables of all time, the nWo and DX. While scripting the match and segment, many backstage felt that a lot of the alliances and logic did not make sense. Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall were longtime enemies of Sting. Plus, they are also real life friends with Shawn Michaels, Triple H and Sean Waltman. WWE went through with it anyways.

To promote the brand that he is currently in charge of, Triple H noted that all but one match at Wrestlemania featured someone that trained at NXT. Antonio Cesaro, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Paige, Rusev, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and several WWE stars in the Andre the Giant battle royal all went through the developmental program. The only match that did not feature someone from there was the one between HHH and Sting.

Since the company badly wanted to bring him on board, there were several stipulations that Sting required from WWE. One of them was not on the contract, but the front office gave it to him anyways because they wanted him to be as comfortable as possible. The WCW legend requested that Charles Robinson be the referee for his match at Wrestlemania with Triple H. The two of them worked together for years.

Now that he has made his Wrestlemania debut in a cameo filled match against Triple H, Sting is going to take some time and decide on his future in professional wrestling. He is said to be open to the idea of working more matches for WWE, provided that the story makes sense and the money is right. On the flip side, the company definitely would love to make use of his name value once again, but they are not going to rush his decision.

In the sixth match at Wrestlemania, Undertaker defied age and time to defeat Bray Wyatt. While the bout was not nearly as epic as the ones he had against Shawn Michaels and Triple H, the veteran performer still looked very solid in the ring. A lot of high impact moves were done by both wrestlers. Wyatt managed to kick out of the first Tombstone Piledriver, which doesn't happen frequently, but the second one was too much for him.

In the third match at Wrestlemania, Triple H defeated Sting by pin fall after hitting him with the end of a sledgehammer during a Stinger Splash attempt. The match thrilled the audience because Sean Waltman, Shawn Michaels, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg came out to help HHH, while Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall came out to help their former WCW cohort. In the end, though, Vince McMahon made sure WWE won the battle.
