Back when Roman Reigns was initially brought up to the main roster, Vince McMahon and Triple H made sure to instruct the creative department to avoid coming up with anything that would reveal that he was a Samoan. The two felt that his ethnicity would cause fans to stereotype him and not view him as a potential main event performer. WWE has recently softened on that stance lately by revealing that Jimmy Uso is related to Reigns.

Vince McMahon, however, wants Rollins to be booked as a stronger champion with more credibility with the fans.
