Since NXT has been growing exponentially, the belief is that the performers are being paid more. That is actually not the case. The developmental territory is running at a loss and requires financial help from WWE. Because of that, Triple H is not able to give out gate bonuses to the wrestlers that work the show. That might change soon once the promotion can survive on its own.

During a recent interview, Elijah Burke revealed something rather interesting. He stated that he has been in contact with Triple H, and the two of them have discussed the possibility of him making a return to WWE. That comes as a bit of a surprise as the front office has been focused on bringing in new guys and training them in the developmental program. For those that do not know, Burke has been busy filming a couple of movies.

Success has a funny way of changing up your plans. Now that Triple H has proven that his NXT stars can draw fans to live events, the company has scrapped the plans of having them do shows at small venues that WWE normally avoids. Management is now looking for medium sized venues for their developmental stars. Another idea being tossed around is to do these shows on a Saturday night in the same town of the pay per view.

To promote the brand that he is currently in charge of, Triple H noted that all but one match at Wrestlemania featured someone that trained at NXT. Antonio Cesaro, Luke Harper, Seth Rollins, Paige, Rusev, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns and several WWE stars in the Andre the Giant battle royal all went through the developmental program. The only match that did not feature someone from there was the one between HHH and Sting.

As many of you already know, wrestlers are required to work in NXT before they get a chance to work on the main roster in WWE. Apparently, the front office is trying that out with the creative department as well. Jimmy Jacobs is said to be leaving ROH, so he can start writing for the developmental program. There, he will work very closely with Triple H. If he does well, then he might start writing Monday Night Raw and Smackdown.

In a very positive sign for WWE, tickets to the NXT show being held in San Jose during Wrestlemania weekend sold out in approximately an hour. No word yet on how many seats were actually sold, but the San Jose State University Event Center can hold nearly 5,000 people. That easily makes it the biggest event that Triple H has ran for his developmental program. The shows in Ohio also sold out pretty rapidly as well.

As reported today, Bill DeMott has resigned as the head trainer in WWE. This comes after several former developmental wrestlers have revealed allegations of physical and mental abuse by DeMott. He worked as a producer during the NXT live event in Columbus on Thursday night. Word going around is that DeMott met with Triple H to discuss the situation. The belief is that the latter convinced the former to resign to help out the company.
