Triple H

Triple H
It appears that Ric Flair has signed a new contract with WWE. While the legendary performer can still make his own business deals, there is a clause that requires him to cancel those appearances if Vince McMahon or Triple H were to ever call upon him for something related to the company. This has been an issue for the two sides in the past.

Triple H

Another possible cause of the backstage heat between CM Punk and WWE is the fact that he did not want to do the job to Triple H at Wrestlemania 30. Punk felt that the company was going in that direction since he has refused to sign a contract extension with them.

Triple H

"There is no real comparison, that is like comparing a diamond and a chunk of coal. Vince McMahon is an absolute master, he is a brilliant man, you take a look at going up against WCW, Ted Turner and that whole organisation. Turner gave us all no cut contracts; Hulk Hogan, Brutus Beefcake, Bret Hart, and myself all went to WCW. Vince then took all the cast offs like Triple H and Steve Austin and turned them into global superstars and once again he was on top. You've got to give Vince credit, he is not your friend, if you want a friend go buy a puppy, Vince is your boss. He will use you and make you money but when the time is right he will flush you down the toilet and won't think twice about it, welcome to the real world."

- Jim Duggan on Eric Bischoff

Brooke Tessmacher
Since he is one of their more underrated performers, TNA has managed to sign Robbie E to a long term contract extension. Some within the company view that he can be a star down the line, especially since he is still just 30 years of age. There were some questions as to whether or not Robbie was going to stay with the company since the status of his girlfriend Brooke Tessmacher has been up in the air.
April 16, 2014
Sting
While an agreement has been reached between the two sides, it appears that Sting still has yet to sign the contract, wanting to make sure that he and his people go through the details of the arrangement with WWE very finely before making a commitment. One of the main issues is the amount of dates that Sting will have to work as an in ring performer. He will not be wrestling much for WWE.
April 15, 2014
Rey Mysterio
Some potentially interest news coming out of WWE this week is that Rey Mysterio might have actually allowed his contract with the company to expire. April 14, 2014
Heath Slater
Since the company needs room for all the new stars that they are bringing up from the developmental program, WWE is expected to allow several of the veteran performers to leave the company soon. While the company has managed to bring in a couple of new faces over the last several months, TNA has suffered a loss in their talent roster, as Chris Sabin has opted to leave the company. His contract has expired, and the offer presented to him was not favorable enough for him to stick around. Sabin is heading back to the independent wrestling circuit for the time being.
April 13, 2014
Aksana
Another name that is rumored to be released by WWE soon is Aksana. While she is on good terms with management now, the backstage relationship has always been up and down. Devitt is said to be considering the offer.
April 10, 2014
CM Punk
Since he walked away from the company, CM Punk has now been removed from the upcoming Flintstones movie. April 15, 2014
Triple H
There has been a bit of a shift in philosophy backstage with Triple H taking over more of the power from Vince McMahon, as the former world heavyweight champion is more inclined to respond to internet wrestling fans by taking jabs through the story lines. For years, McMahon has long avoided any connection with fans online, but HHH likes sending messages to people who complain.
April 14, 2014
Triple H
Rumors have it that Triple H is the main driving force behind Bruno Sammartino staying involved with WWE. April 6, 2014

WWE is thinking about turning it into a Submission Match or a No Disqualification Match. Some feel that a normal match between the two would not be good enough.
