Summerslam in Las Vegas

Since the pay per view weekend was such as success, WWE has been touting how well Summerslam did in Brooklyn. You would figure that the company might want a repeat performance next year. Well, that is not the case. Vince McMahon is reportedly interested in moving the pay per view to Las Vegas, a city where people would gladly travel to for an event. There are also talks of taking things back to Los Angeles.

Tough Enough audition tapes

Apparently, there are a ton of wrestling fans who think that they have what it takes to become a star in WWE. The company has now revealed that they have received audition tapes from 113 different countries. Some of the videos have been uploaded to YouTube, and they have already received more than 2 million views collectively. That should please Vince McMahon quite a bit because he can tout those numbers during the next conference call.

Uhaa Nation

Uhaa Nation to WWE

A new class of developmental wrestlers started working for NXT this week. Among them is Uhaa Nation, the highly touted 27 year old from the independent wrestling circuit. He is expected to be the star of the class. Nation was signed late last year, but he had some things to work out before starting with the company. In a rather interesting note, the majority of the class is international guys that have very limited wrestling experience.

Wrestlemania attendance

When it comes to Wrestlemania, WWE loves to tout numbers because they love to break records. It makes the company look especially impressive to the media, which in turn makes them look impressive to potential advertisers. Vince McMahon was quite pleased that he was able to draw in 76,976 fans to Levi Stadium for the event. The CEO is hoping to break his own all time record with the big pay per view in Dallas next year.

Booker T

Booker T rehabilitation

Aside from being a very popular performer, one of the biggest reasons why WWE likes having Booker T around is because of his life story. As many of you already know, the former world heavyweight champion was a troubled youth. However, he managed to turn things around with his life and found success, both as a wrestler and as a businessman. It is great for public relations because they can tout that they give second chances.
