Brock Lesnar

Raw loses viewers

Despite having Brock Lesnar around, WWE still managed to lose half a million viewers for the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. While some fans are brushing off the decline to the soccer tournament, management is a bit concerned. That is a good thing because they will try a bit harder to come up with better material for us to watch.

Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder to NXT

Hard as it may be to believe, but WWE is moving Zack Ryder even further away from the main roster. The veteran performer is now a full time participant in NXT live events. He will more than likely be utilized rather frequently when the brand starts doing national tours on a regular basis. Ryder has also been tasked with being a mentor for Mojo Rowley, a guy they have big plans for.

Hideo Itami

Hideo Itami shirt pulled

In trying to avoid a lot of embarrassment, WWE was quick to pull the shirts that they made for Hideo Itami from their official online store. Management was informed that the Japanese characters on the item were incorrect. A lot of people in Japan are very old school when it comes to things, so the inaccuracy might have offended them. Fortunately, the shirt was pulled quickly enough. The company is doing a tour in Tokyo in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, though, a shoulder injury is going to rob everyone of the chance to see that happening. However, management is still going to be bringing Itami along for the ride, as they feel that a special guest appearance is better than nothing. He has been heavily involved in promoting the shows.

The main reason why Justin Gabriel decided to walk away from WWE was because he wanted to be able to perform more frequently in front of fans. He still had a passion for the industry, but grown frustrated because he was basically a filler guy for the company. He now gets his chance to show his magic in the ring again. Gabriel has signed a contract with GFW and will be part of the roster that will be touring later on this summer.
