Tony Chimel
When WWE was releasing employees left and right due to the forced budget cuts, there were several rumors floating around backstage. Fortunately for the two of them, the release never took place, and they appear to be safe for the time being.

Alberto Del Rio
WWE is looking for a new social media manager. While that normally would not generate much interest, it does so here in this case because the previous guy that held the spot was Cody Barbierri, the allegedly racist employee that played a huge part in the controversial Alberto Del Rio release earlier in the year. No word yet on whether or not the release is related to the incident, but more on the story should be revealed in the upcoming days and weeks.

Adam Pearce
Rumors were floating around that Nick Dinsmore was given a release by WWE because of backstage politics as opposed to budget cost. Justin Roberts
When news broke that Justin Roberts had been given a release by WWE, fans naturally speculated as to who would replace him in the role. Some are saying that the move will be temporary until WWE can find someone who can fill the position permanently.

Justin Roberts
While the news of his release from WWE surprised the fans, Justin Roberts apparently knew that it was coming. A couple of weeks ago, the announcer attempted to trademark his name. Brandi Rhodes
Now that Justin Roberts has been given a release by WWE, fans are speculating as to who will replace him as the announcer for Monday Night Raw. Lilian Garcia is said to be ruled out because the Smackdown schedule works much better for her pursuit of music. Byron Saxton is just the backup for now. Brandi Rhodes and JoJo Offerman are the two primary candidates for the role.
October 16, 2014
Rey Mysterio
While the backstage heat between the two sides remains at a pretty high level, it does not appear that WWE will be giving a release to Rey Mysterio any time soon. Management has started to accept that the former world heavyweight champion will not be returning to work anytime soon, but they will not let him out of his contract to help another promotion out. WWE would rather just keep him on the sidelines for the time being, especially since Mysterio has reportedly stopped cashing in their checks.

Roberts was one of the more well liked guys backstage because of his passion and enthusiasm for the business.

Justin Roberts
Shortly after he worked Monday Night Raw this week, WWE announced that they have decided to release Justin Roberts after a dozen years o service because they did not want to sign him to another contract. No word yet on why management is letting him go, but the news is probably not well received backstage since Roberts was viewed as one of the biggest wrestling fans in the company.

Since he actually tried to trick ROH into hiring him immediately after his WWE release, it should come as a surprise to no one that Evan Bourne is now officially returning to the company later on this month when his 90 day non compete clause expires. In regards to the release of ODB from TNA, reports are surfacing that the two sides are leaving on good terms. She was not released because of backstage heat or anything. In exchange, the company will continue to pay him, even though he has been given a release. That has led fans to speculate as to how much money he will be given. The belief is that it will not be the full amount of the contract, as he will not be paid for working live events.
August 21, 2014
Bo Dallas
While management has seemingly given up on the Bo Dallas push, they do not appear to be in a rush to give him a release just yet. The belief is that WWE will keep him around for the time being and utilize him as a roster filler. Dallas is considered a good employee who shows up to work and does not cause trouble backstage. Another push seems to be out of the question, though.
