While he was easily one of the best overall performers during his generation, Tully Blanchard was a bit of a headache backstage. Shortly before he decided to leave WWE, Blanchard ended up failing a drug test because of cocaine, so management had no choice but to fire him. Bobby Heenan had to replace him in the match at Survivor Series 1989.

The Survivor Series 2014 will be taking place in St Louis, Missouri this year. With Randy Orton being from the city, there are rumors that he could be heavily featured on the show. While there are still some questions whether or not this is a shoot or a story line, Tommy Dreamer is telling fans that he might be done with TNA as a backstage agent after an incident where he bashed Dixie Carter for removing Bully Ray at the last minute from his House of Hardcore show. His departure has not been confirmed yet, and many are still under the belief that this is an elaborate work.

Rumors are heavily floating around right now that TNA and House of Hardcore are working together. When Tommy Dreamer cut what seemed to be a shoot interview about Dixie Carter pulling Bully Ray from his show, some felt that it was out of character for Dreamer to do that, as he is viewed as one of the more respectful guys in the industry. Plus, Dreamer himself has a working relationship with TNA already, so it would not be hard to fathom that he would align his company with Carter.

Earlier this week, it was discovered that Bully Ray had been pulled from the House of Hardcore event that Tommy Dreamer was promoting. It has now been revealed that TNA pulled Bully Ray, so that he can go represent the company at a Spike TV television event. Since contract negotiations on a new television deal are ongoing, TNA wanted to maintain a good working relationship with Spike TV, and Bully Ray is one of their best representatives.

An interesting situation took place at the House of Hardcore show in New York tonight. Tommy Dreamer bashed Dixie Carter for pulling Bully Ray from his show at the last minute. He stated that the TNA president pulled Bully to appear on a promotional event for Impact Wrestling. Dreamer has a working relationship with Carter, so there are rumors that this was simply a story line to generate interest in both promotions.

Another person that has been gaining some power backstage in TNA is Taz. Aside from being the voice of Impact Wrestling, he also has been helping out with the creative department. Taz was also instrumental in the return of Tommy Dreamer to the front office.
