When Tommy Dreamer gave Shane Helms a chance to be a commentator for House of Hardcore, a new career opportunity was opened. Rumors are now floating around that TNA is considering Helms as a potential replacement for Taz, who recently parted ways with the company. Helms was recently added to the front office as an agent and producer, but a change could be made if management deems him to be the best option to join Josh Mathews.

Mickie James retiring from wrestling

As soon as word spread that Mickie James was making a big announcement on Impact Wrestling later on this week, rumors started to spread that the popular Knockout was going to be announcing her retirement. That is definitely a possibility as she is now a mother. However, TNA could be pulling a swerve by having her announce something entirely different. It could end up being something as simple as Mickie signing a new contract.

TNA and Wrestle 1 partnership

There are rumors floating around that the partnership between TNA and Wrestle 1 has come to an end. Much of the speculation stems from the fact that Seiya Sanada was released from his contract before it was set to expire in July. Interesting enough, Sanada has opted to remain in the United States instead of going back to work in Japan. Nothing has been confirmed from either the Great Muta or Dixie Carter at this point in time.

Management has been busy negotiating new contracts with the performers. It is virtually impossible for them to be able to sign everyone at once because the negotiations process is lengthier than some fans are aware of.
