Now that ROH is officially being dropped by Destination America, there are some rising concerns in TNA in regards to their television situation. Many believe that the network is ending their experiment with professional wrestling. They feel that Impact Wrestling will be canceled soon. Dixie Carter, however, is said to be working fervently to secure a new television contract with another network.

Young Bucks sign contract

Through social media, the Young Bucks revealed to fans that they have signed a new contract. Of course, to make things fun, the brothers did not bother to reveal which promotion that they are signing with. Instead, they listed out Lucha Underground, WWE, ROH, TNA and New Japan. The belief is that the popular tandem has not signed with World Wrestling Entertainment because they have backstage heat there.

The first lady of ROH might be leaving the company, as Maria Kanellis has teased fans through social media about a potential departure. The gorgeous red head revealed to fans that her contract with the promotion expires at the end of the year. Maria has leverage in negotiations since she has other options for work. New Japan likes having her around, and TNA is said to have shown interest in signing her.

Cornette bashes King

Back in the summer of 2012, Kenny King allegedly walked away from a handshake deal with ROH in order to sign a contract with TNA. Jim Cornette has not forgotten that. During a recent interview, he called King the biggest liar in professional wrestling. The legendary manager also bashed King for being a stripper when he is not wrestling. Cornette was very much against Ring of Honor allowing King to make a return recently.

Earlier in the year, the belief was that Kenny King had abruptly left TNA and returned to ROH. Well, the former X Division Champion has been announced as a participant in the World Title Series, which is where the promotion is going to crown their top champion in a couple of weeks. Reports have surfaced that King is working out a deal with both promotions that would allow him to wrestle simultaneously for them.

The likelihood of Kazuchika Okada ever making a return to TNA appears to be very slim. During a recent interview, the New Japan and ROH star revealed his feelings about the company. He felt that management held him back from being able to wrestle. Okada simply wanted to put on some performances to a new fan base. It appears that he will continue to just work for Ring of Honor when he is in the United States.

Kenny King leaves TNA

In a move that doesn't come as a shock to many, Kenny King has apparently left TNA. No details have been revealed, but he showed up at the ROH pay per view this week. His previous contract allowed him to work Impact Wrestling episodes and on independent wrestling shows that are not being televised. Showing up in Ring of Honor is a sign that he is no longer working for Total Nonstop Action.

It is unfortunate for wrestling fans in the Untied States that promoters here are unable to figure out how to get dual contracts so that performers can work in multiple places. In Japan, Kota Ibushi was the first person to do just that, as he was under contract with New Japan and a promotion called DDT. Companies like ROH, GFW and TNA would receive quite a boost from the talent exchange.

Rumors have surfaced that one of the reasons why a contract between WWE and Destination America has not been reached yet is the time slot. The network would obviously love to open up their Thursday night wrestling block with the most popular promotion, as it would draw viewers to TNA and ROH. However, Vince McMahon is not very keen on the idea of helping out his competition.

Rumors have surfaced that the network met with WWE to discuss the possibility of picking up one of their tertiary shows. Vince McMahon plans on keeping Monday Night Raw and Smackdown on the USA Network.
