Earlier in the year, James Storm revealed that he was not informed by management that he was filming matches for the World Title Series. This week, Gail Kim stated the same thing. At the time that the matches were filmed, the performers were simply told that the matches were for something important. TNA might have had something else planned at the time.

If you watch Impact Wrestling on a weekly basis, then you see James Storm being a participant in the World Title Series to determine a new heavyweight champion in TNA. According to Storm, however, he had no idea that he was involved in such a story line when he filmed those matches. He suggest that management did not inform a lot of people about the tournament when they were performing their matches.

As many of you already know, TNA is doing a World Title Series to determine a new heavyweight champion. Tournament matches are being filmed this week, and there are rumors that Bobby Lashley is going to end up being crowned as the top guy in the promotion again. There are also talks that he will face Matt Hardy in the finals, which means that Ethan Carter will be out of the picture.

In a rather clever move to make the entire roster relevant, TNA has announced that they will be doing a world title series to determine a new lead champion after Matt Hardy vacated the belt in the main story line. Thirty two performers will be competing in a series of matches to determine who will have the most points. The belief is that this will eventually lead to a showdown featuring Ethan Carter in the main role.

Tetsuya Naito to ROH

Apparently, ROH wants a lot of international talent for their upcoming series of matches in Philadelphia and Toronto. In addition to Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada, the company has now secured the services of Tetsuya Naito. For those of you that do not remember, the veteran performer worked a couple of matches for TNA, including a handicap match against Kevin Nash on Impact Wrestling. No word yet on who he will be working with.

Kota Sekifuda to TNA

A new face will be showing up in TNA soon. Kota Sekifuda is reportedly being sent to the United States by Big Japan Wrestling to gain some more experience. They somehow worked a deal with Dixie Carter to allow him to gain that experience through her promotion. Sekifuda is a rookie in the business, and he will more than likely work a couple of hardcore matches during his tenure because BJW is known for that style.

In a move that many thought would be impossible, it now appears that WWE will be signing Samoa Joe to a contract very soon. Reports have surfaced that the two sides have come to an agreement on terms. The belief is that the deal will not take place before April, as Joe has already committed to working matches for ROH in the month of March. Despite being a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Joe will be going through developmental still.

Brittany returning to TNA

News broke out a couple of days ago that Brittany was no longer with TNA. She became a free agent and started working matches on the independent wrestling circuit. Well, it looks like she has agreed to a contract that will see her making a return to the promotion in a couple of weeks. Reports surfaced that she initially rejected a contract offer, but management was simply not doing any negotiation while they were focusing on a deal with Destination America.
