Abyss vs Undertaker

During a podcast interview with Jim Ross, Abyss revealed some details about how close he came to signing with WWE back in 2006. John Laurinaitis had an offer on the table, but he backed out of the deal at the very last minute because he did not want to leave TNA after spending so many years there. Abyss also revealed to Ross that there were plans for him to feud with Undertaker and work a big match together at Wrestlemania.

As some of you may already know, TNA is doing a tour of India later on this month. Management really wanted James Storm to perform in that country, so they contacted him around the time that he made his NXT debut. The reason why Storm was such a priority for the front office is because they really wanted him to continue his feud with Mahabali Shera, who will be heavily featured in his home country.

Angle vs Lesnar at Wrestlemania

Rumors have surfaced that there are those within WWE that are pushing management to set up a huge match between Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. The former is set to be a free agent soon and has already stated that he is not in a rush to return to TNA. The latter needs a top level opponent to work against because his feud with the Undertaker has ran its course.

MVP vs Hardy in TNA

During a recent interview, Matt Hardy revealed that there were plans in TNA for he and MVP to work a program together. The two of them had a very extensive and very entertaining feud in WWE, so the smart move would have been to capitalize on that. Hardy revealed that he was supposed to have an alliance with his former on screen foe, but for whatever reasons, things just didn't work out.

While their feud has been largely overlooked by mainstream wrestling fans, the program between Bobby Roode and Eric Young is both heavily anticipated and praised by those in the industry. The two performers are really good friends who are willing to take each other to the limit in order to produce an entertaining feud for TNA. There are even rumors that several people backstage in WWE have been keeping up with the feud as well.

TNA signs American Wolves

The tag team division in TNA should be more than solid for the next year, as the company has just announced that they have signed new contracts with the American Wolves. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards are expected to be the centerpiece of the division. Management was really impressed with their performance over the last year, and they rewarded them with memorable feuds against Bully Ray, Devon, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy.
