The reason for doing that is because the front office does not want to risk either one of them being hurt again. The company views the Wolves as two of their key players in the division, so they want to ensure they stick around.

It appears that Bobby Lashley and Kurt Angle have come through for TNA. Their world heavyweight championship match was heavily promoted, and it increased viewership for that episode of Impact Wrestling by a very impressive margin of 20 percent. Executives at Destination America should be quite pleased with that, especially since they were the ones that pushed the front office to make Angle the centerpiece attraction again.
