Management dedicates a lot of their creativity to events such as Royal Rumble 2015. A potential story would have the former world heavyweight champion rebelling against the Authority and their wish to have Seth Rollins winning the match.
October 9, 2014
Luke Harper
Every year, WWE utilizes a segment in the big battle royal to put over performers by having them dominate the competition. Luke Harper is currently penciled in as a recipient of that push at Royal Rumble 2015. The plan right now is to get fans to start embracing him as a singles performer before giving him the big credibility boost at the Rumble.
October 9, 2014
Rob Van Dam
Since WWE is expanding the big battle royal to include 40 contestants instead of the typical 30, rumors have surfaced left and right about potential returns at Royal Rumble 2015. Rob Van Dam is among the list of candidates to appear in the match that night. There is a very good chance that he could do a one night only thing and wait until later in the year to make a longer return.
October 9, 2014
Brock Lesnar
Since he is not scheduled to win the big battle royal, it looks like WWE wants to utilize John Cena in the main title match at Royal Rumble 2015 instead. A rematch between Cena and Brock Lesnar is now scheduled to take place at the pay per view. Management knows that they do not have a lot of credible opponents for the former UFC champion, so they are going back to the Cena well once again.

At one point in time, WWE wanted to rebuild Big Show into a main event performer, so that he can be fed to Brock Lesnar on a pay per view. Instead, Show will more than likely put over Alexander Rusev, who is rapidly rising into the main event scene.

Paul Heyman
Even though he is one of the most popular and entertaining performers, WWE is planning on keeping Paul Heyman off of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown until at least January. The belief is that management does not want to draw attention to the fact that their world heavyweight champion is not around for television shows. Lesnar and Heyman should be back in time to promote Royal Rumble 2015.

The move would put him on track to headline Wrestlemania 31.

Tito Ortiz

With his recent DUI arrest and a fractured neck suffered during practice, it appears that Tito Ortiz could be done with Bellator. Vince McMahon
While a lot of fans are under the assumption that there will be a huge number of international subscribers for the WWE Network, the latest financial reports tell an entirely different story. Over the last three months, the online service has picked up 31,000 more subscribers. Since 3,000 of those are domestic, that means that only 28,000 subscribers signed on from 170 different countries. It's a positive, but not nearly what was needed to get to the 1 million subscribers mark that Vince McMahon desperately wants.
October 31, 2014
Vince McMahon
In response to the lower than expected subscribers count, Vince McMahon has decided to give away the WWE Network for free to new subscribers. There will be no charge during the month of November. Sin Cara
Depending on your name value, the pay outside of WWE is usually a lot less than within the company. For Sin Cara, who is viewed as a legend in Mexico, he is doing quite alright for himself. Reports have surfaced that the masked performer is generating approximately $5000 for every match that he works. Sin Cara is said to be working two to three matches a week. That is a significant amount of money, and he probably does not miss WWE much.
October 30, 2014
Vince McMahon
A good amount of investors have bailed on WWE after their much anticipated announcement today. Vince McMahon and company revealed that they only have 731,000 subscribers for the WWE Network, a number which falls way short of what they were aiming for. Since they were not able to break the 1 million mark, expect some changes to be made to the product. The project has been deemed a failure by many, and all eyes will now be on McMahon to see what he does to rectify the situation.
October 30, 2014
Bray Wyatt
A lot of changes have taken place on the upcoming WWE tour of Europe. Initially, Randy Orton was scheduled for the entire trip. Then, after he expressed frustration with his role in the company, management allowed him to leave during the second half of the tour. Now, the former world heavyweight champion has been removed from the overseas shows altogether. He is being replaced by Bray Wyatt, who will work matches against Chris Jericho.
October 30, 2014
Kenta Kobayashi
Since he had spent many years utilizing the stiffer style of wrestling in Japan, there were concerns in WWE about Kenta Kobayashi being able to adapt to their more moderate style. Reports have surfaced that the newly named Hideo Itami is indeed having some trouble making the adjustments. A match he did was recently filmed again because officials felt that his kicks were too light and off the mark. It is a sign that he is trying to hold back on the realism.
October 29, 2014
Curtis Axel
With Ryback making his return on Monday Night Raw, many are wondering about the fate of his former tag team partner, Curtis Axel. It looks like management will utilize him as a role player in the singles division. The former Intercontinental Champion worked a match this week against Kofi Kingston on WWE Main Event. The company really likes having a veteran performer like Axel around, so job security should not be an issue anytime soon.
October 29, 2014
Christian
Management does not want Christian back in the wrestling ring, but since he is still on the payroll, the company is finding various ways to put him to good use. The latest task has the former world heavyweight champion flying over to France to do some promotional work for the recently released WWE 2K15 video game. Christian will make various media appearances and encourage consumers to make the purchase.
October 29, 2014
Ryback
Since he was no longer a topic of discussion, Ryback managed to have his return to Monday Night Raw fly under the radar. That, in part, helped to generate a much better reception for the former main event performer than expected. WWE fans in the arena chanted his catchphrase and cheered for him, while online fans helped his name become a trend on various social media websites.
October 28, 2014
Michelle McCool
Monday Night Raw was held in San Antonio last night. Since the event was so close to their home, Michelle McCool and Undertaker decided to pay a visit backstage to some of their friends in WWE. There were never any plans for either of them to make an appearance on television, especially since Undertaker is still on vacation mode physically. The two of them still maintain a close relationship with management.
October 28, 2014
Randy Orton
As many already know, Randy Orton is being given time off by WWE to prevent him from being burnt out on the road. The former world heavyweight champion isn't just going to sit around idly during that time, however. Orton has been cast as the lead role in the upcoming Condemned 2 movie, which is a sequel to the film that starred Steve Austin.
October 27, 2014
CM Punk
There is some development in the bitter feud between WWE and CM Punk, it seems. When the former world heavyweight champion had his lawyers send a 22 page letter to the company about royalties, management responded by removing most of his products from their online store. Something might have changed backstage, as WWE is selling Punk merchandise again.
October 27, 2014
John Cena

October 26, 2014
Bobby Lashley
Karl Etherington was undefeated and the British heavyweight champion when he walked into Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane last night. By the time that Bellator 130 had ended, however, his unblemished record was no more. About 90 seconds into the fight, Etherington slipped on a judo throw, so Bobby Lashley was able to capitalize and land enough punches to get the referee to stop the match.
October 25, 2014

October 24, 2014
Alberto Del Rio
WWE is looking for a new social media manager. While that normally would not generate much interest, it does so here in this case because the previous guy that held the spot was Cody Barbierri, the allegedly racist employee that played a huge part in the controversial Alberto Del Rio release earlier in the year. No word yet on whether or not the release is related to the incident, but more on the story should be revealed in the upcoming days and weeks.
October 24, 2014
Christian
There is going to be another Edge and Christian reunion in the near future, but unfortunately for WWE fans, it will not be taking place inside of a wrestling ring. On the November 28 episode of Haven, Christian will be making a guest appearance on the show. His character will be a close friend of Dwight, the character portrayed by Edge.
October 23, 2014
John Cena
