Michael Hayes receives backlash

Earlier in the week, Michael Hayes took to social media to promise WWE fans that there would be some surprises on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. After the telecast was over, angry fans told Hayes that he did not keep his words. The legendary member of the Fabulous Freebirds decided to issue a response by stating that he never said that it would be huge surprises. He never promised Steve Austin or The Rock.

Rock vs Brock

On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE fans heard a promo from Brock Lesnar, where he bragged about beating The Rock and sending him away to Hollywood. Management purposely wrote that into the script because they want to leave the door open for a potential main event match between the two of them at Wrestlemania next year. The company knows that they will need a high profile match to fill out that gigantic stadium in Dallas.

Rock vs Rusev

At one point in time, there was a lot of speculations floating around that The Rock would work a high profile match at Wrestlemania against Rusev after the two of them worked a segment on Monday Night Raw. Reports have surfaced that WWE has completely taken that off the table. Management is hoping that the Great One works a higher profile match on the pay per view. Many are pushing for him to be in the main event instead.

Reigns compared to Rock

During the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, the injured Roman Reigns made a surprising appearance to accept a Slammy award. Fans noted that the usually robotic speaker was a lot more comfortable with his speech. Jim Ross, who has a pretty good track record of spotting and signing talent for WWE, noticed as well. The legendary commentator posted on social media that he felt that Reigns showed some subtle mannerisms that are similar to his cousin The Rock.
