Bray Wyatt injured

Since he is coming off of a huge match with Undertaker at Wrestlemania, many were under the assumption that Bray Wyatt was going to be featured prominently on Monday Night Raw as a way to capitalize on the momentum. However, WWE opted to keep him off television instead. His injury is the biggest reason for that, as management does not want to jeopardize his future. Wyatt may be kept out until after Extreme Rules.

Santino Marella reality show

Since his injury is taking longer to heal than initially expected, there is a chance that Santino Marella might never be able to make his in ring return to WWE. Fortunately, though, he planned ahead. Marella has a couple of outside business interest, including a reality television show that is being worked on. His wrestling and MMA school is slated to be the premise of the series. The Fight Network will be the ones to air the unnamed show.

Tamina Snuka at Wrestlemania

When they say that WWE contacts everyone to chip in and help during Wrestlemania week, they mean everyone. Tamina Snuka has resurfaced this week. She did a promotional appearance at the San Francisco 49ers museum with Goldust, Jack Swagger and Lilian Garcia. For those that are not aware, Tamina has been on the sidelines for the last several months because she tore her ACL. He return to television is expected soon.

Layla El return

Speculations arose this week when fans noticed that Layla El was representing WWE at a Special Olympics event. That made some believe that the longtime diva was back on the road with the company. There is a chance that the front office is asking for all available performers to be on hand during the hectic Wrestlemania week. There has been no confirmation on a television return or on a return to the live events tour.

Evan Bourne on Total Divas

There are rumors floating around that Evan Bourne could be showing up during an episode of Total Divas next season. Alicia Fox posted a photo of herself hanging out with the high flying performer. There are natural speculations from the internet wrestling community that the two of them are involved in a romantic relationship. It will be interesting to see if WWE includes a former star on their reality television show.

Brad Maddox return

At a live event in Milwaukee over the weekend, Brad Maddox made his return to WWE. Often times, management likes to test things out at these events to gauge what the audience reaction would be before doing it on Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. Based on the lackluster reaction and the poor quality of the match, the front office has much to work on before doing the Maddox return on television.

Summer Rae push

There was a point in time where WWE really wanted Summer Rae to be pushed into the top spot in the divas division. However, those days look to be long gone now. Management views her as simple a role player at the moment. Some feel that she is still not up to par with her in ring performance, while others believe that she has trouble connecting with the audience when she speaks. Summer is being used as a filler diva on television now.

Matt Hardy signs contract

John Gaburick has been a busy fellow this week. In addition to locking down Angelina Love to a contract, the TNA executive has also secured the use of Matt Hardy for at least another year. The company likes having Hardy around because his name value is still strong after years of being one of the more popular and profitable performers for WWE. Having him around also helps the front office secure television and advertising deals.

Sheamus return

While his vignettes have been playing on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown for what seems like an eternity now, WWE has no plans on bringing Sheamus back to television just yet. The idea being penciled in at the moment is to have him make his comeback at Wrestlemania itself. Management is still trying to decide which match he will be involved in. The two choices are the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal and the ladder match.

Mark Henry at Wrestlemania

While he has not been on television in quite some time now, WWE actually does have plans for Mark Henry at Wrestlemania penciled in. The former world heavyweight champion is expected to be one of the surprise entrants during the Andre the Giant memorial battle royal. There are even talks that he could be the one to win it this year because management needs another top level heel who can be utilized as a challenger for Roman Reigns.
