Since there was so much confusion within the internet wrestling community over the situation, ROH decided to release an official statement in regards to Samoa Joe working the television taping on June 20, 2015. Even though he is under contract with WWE, he will honor his contract and work the tag team match with AJ Styles. It is being billed as his final appearance.

When the announcement was made that Ring of Honor was going to be broadcast on Destination America, a lot of the internet wrestling community assumed that there was going to be an immediate ratings war with TNA. Despite all the hype, ROH failed to even crack the top 100 cable television show for the evening. Joe Koff and company are already aware that they are running a replay, so most of their fans have already seen the episode.

There are a lot of people who are surprised that Christopher Daniels has not signed up with GFW yet. The belief was that it was virtually a sure thing that he would. Since ROH has now been picked up by Destination America, Daniels may not want to join another promotion. Being on a better network enables him to raise his asking price on the independent wrestling circuit. Things could change if Global Force Wrestling gets a television deal.

Even though he is signed to a contract with WWE now, Samoa Joe is scheduled to make a return to ROH and work a television taping. Of course, that deal has now been complicated because Ring of Honor has now been picked up by Destination America, which means that the promotion can now be seen in every state. World Wrestling Entertainment generally has a policy against performers being used on TV elsewhere.

A very big moment is happening in ROH. There is going to be an epic match between Jay Lethal and Jay Briscoe on June 19, 2015 in New York City. After a very long buildup to this moment, both the World Heavyweight Championship and World Television Championship will be on the line, with one man walking away as a double champion. Ring of Honor is banking big time on this pay per view being able to draw in new fans.

Chris Sabin made his surprise return to ROH recently, and he did it in a big way. In the main event of a television taping, Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels defeated reDRagon for the tag team championship. A masked man got involved in the action, and when the reveal took place, it turned out to be Sabin. The three former TNA stars have formed a new stable called KRD, which stands for Knights of the Rising Dawn.

While he has been given a really solid push over the last year, there is still a chance that Jay Lethal could opt to leave for GFW when the opportunity arises. He maintains a good business relationship with Jeff Jarrett, who may end up receiving a better television deal for his promotion than the one that Ring of Honor has. It is being said that Lethal would love to perform for a much bigger audience. ROH still is not shown in every state.

Since there are still some financial issues lingering, ROH is said to be quite desperate to get a television deal done with Spike TV. The move would help resolve a lot of things, and it would help them advance to a point in business that they have never been before. However, there is a major obstacle standing in the way of Joe Koff. The network is concerned about being associated with a scripted sport because they want to emphasize real sports.
