Ultimate Warrior
In times of tragedy, the worst of the worst comes out, in order to take advantage of the situation. Several people have been selling illegal Ultimate Warrior merchandise shortly after the WWE legend died last week. Lawyers for his marketing company have already sent out cease and desist letters to over 100 different people, demanding that they quit selling products with his likeness attached.

Rey Mysterio
Since the masked performer has yet to put his signature on a brand new contract, WWE has been purposely downplaying his role on Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. However, management does indeed want to keep Rey Mysterio around for at least another year, as they feel that he still has some merchandise value. Plus, he is already involved in the Flintstones movie.

Rey Mysterio
With his contract expiring in a few weeks, things might have just became easier for WWE to let Rey Mysterio walk away. Merchandise sales for the masked superstar have dropped as of late. His consistent ability to generate revenue for the company was a big reason why they never gave up on Mysterio as his body repeatedly failed him over the years.

Hunico
While there is a legal storm brewing between the two sides, there is now a chance that WWE might not be willing to fight with Sin Cara over the use of the name, as the value of the character has dropped tremendously over the last couple of weeks. When merchandise sales remained strong, management utilized Hunico in the role to help keep that going. The numbers have since dropped.

CM Punk
For the longest time there, CM Punk was the second best when it comes to moving merchandise. The fact that he was only behind John Cena is a big reason why Vince McMahon wants him back in WWE. Well, his absence has caused Daniel Bryan, whose popularity has remained strong despite not being given the title, to move up into the second spot now.
March 14, 2014
Steve Austin
Since the company was so focused on other wrestlers over the last couple of months, Steve Austin has not been a focal point for WWE heading into Wrestlemania 30, but there is now a change, as management wants to do a big merchandise push in the coming months. Despite not being there any more, Austin still remains as one of the top merchandise sellers for WWE.
March 13, 2014
Jim Ross
During his podcast interview with Jim Ross, the topic of John Cena doing a heel turn was brought up with Steve Austin. The former WWE star was adamant that the move should not happen. Austin pointed out that his own heel turn was a disaster because it ruined his merchandise sales. He feels that the same would happen if Cena were to make the turn.

CM Punk
In the past, Vince McMahon was quick to bury wrestlers who did anything remotely negative towards WWE, so it is quite telling that the CEO has opted to remain quiet on CM Punk. The belief is that McMahon really is hoping that Punk changes his mind and returns because he moves a lot of merchandise and is quite the draw for the company.
March 6, 2014
Sin Cara
Despite being sent legal threats from the company, it appears that Sin Cara has opted to be defiant towards WWE. The masked wrestler recently won a championship down in Mexico while using the name and character, both of which he claims ownership to. New merchandise has been made despite the possibility of a lawsuit coming.
March 5, 2014
Sting
While things have been quiet as of late, the belief is that WWE is still negotiating with Sting on a contract. It will not be the type of deal that fans have been longing for over the last couple of years. The discussions now have been leaning more towards merchandise and a hall of fame induction at Wrestlemania 31.

CM Punk
As is expected, there are several people backstage within WWE that are trying to discredit CM Punk and his value to the company. Some are stating that he was not much of a draw to live events and pay per view events. His supporters, however, are pointing out that he sold the most merchandise behind John Cena.
February 13, 2014
Hunico
Hunico might be cashing in a nice pay per view bonus check at Wrestlemania 30 this year, as WWE still has interest in using the Sin Cara character at the event. Merchandise sales have remained strong, and the company wants to continue to capitalize. There may be a lawsuit coming from the original performer, though.
February 12, 2014
CM Punk
While there are still fans clamoring for him to move down the card, John Cena should remain high in the eyes of WWE officials, as his merchandise is still the top movers. Randy Orton and CM Punk round out the top three, with Daniel Bryan coming in at fourth. Sin Cara still remains a top seller.
February 6, 2014
Sin Cara

Even though he did not work the recent European tour, merchandise sales for items featuring Sin Cara were pretty high, which helps him get back on the graces of people in management.

Taz
The TNA production crew put together a really good promotional video of Gunner recently, and it impressed Taz enough to where he took to Twitter to give them this shout out.
February 20, 2014
Taz
While much of the sports world is making a big fuss about Michael Sam revealing that he was gay, Taz took to Twitter to share his feelings on the matter. The Impact Wrestling commentator feels that society should not be making such a big deal out of someone's sexuality.

Taz

"If I was in complete control of TNA, I would do anything, if WWE right now was going left; I would go right. And if they started going right; I would go left. So that's what I would do. I would try to be the complete opposite of WWE. That's just my opinion. I don't have millions invested. I don't make tons and tons of money as an upper management guy. I don't go in focus groups. I'm not part of that whole research team. I, this is just some blue-collared guy from Brooklyn that wrestled for a living that talks about wrestlers now giving you my opinion. Doesn't mean I'm right. I'm probably wrong. But that's just what I would do as a wrestling fan and a former wrestler; is try to be, look I think our show last night, it looked awesome."

"....and I'm STILL NOT buying TNA nor would I ever want to affect the team of Mike Tenay and Taz. They have great chemistry and as I have said before they do a great job with what is provided them on their monitor."

November 21, 2013
Taz

Former ECW stars Lance Storm and Taz took to Twitter to make fun of unlikely TNA star Norv Fernum.

November 7, 2013
Dixie Carter
When his contract with TNA was expiring, Taz made some calls to WWE to gauge their interest on a potential return as a commentator on either Monday Night Raw or Smackdown. Since the company was not interested and had no room on their shows, Taz instead chose to sign the offer that was on the table from Dixie Carter.
July 24, 2013
Taz

Since his contract only has a certain amount of dates on there, Taz was allowed to miss an episode of Impact Wrestling.
